I’ve always thought choosing penis enhancement product was much like choosing a house…find the builder that offers the most amenities for the most reasonable cost. This philosophy is definitely true when deciding to purchase a penis extender. In this article I discuss the two “mainstream” fasteners and then one which I have constructed and used on my own to create even more success with my penis extender sessions.
Introduction to Fastening Devices for Penis Extenders
All penis extenders are constructed using the same principles. A base for the penis to go through, followed by 2 metal, titanium or aluminum rods and a plastic base where the penis rests coupled with a fastener to keep the penis held in place during your “pull”.
You might not think the fastening mechanism would be the most vital piece of this instrument but this is what makes the extender work in the first place. How the penis is fastened to this base makes a world of difference and will affect how effective your penis is fastened and can handle varied amounts of tension. This is why it is essential to pay careful attention to the “fasteners” that the penis extender companies provide you with your extender.
The “Strap”
This I would argue that the rubber strap is the least effective kind of fastener. I used the PENIMASTER brand penis extender for over 4 years and I almost immediately noticed the ineffectiveness of this method.
The strap is lined with ridges on the strap-flaps. These strap-flaps lined with these ridges move through small slits made on the either side of the plastic cradle where your glans rests to fasten the penis head down and keep it secure during your penis stretching session.
First, the way the ridge-lined flaps move through the slits puts very high tension on the “ridges” and they tear off VERY EASILY. Second, the straps do not stay put. PeniMaster actually re-designed the plastic base so that when you fasten the penis down they had these “lock-type” gadgets that prevented the strap from coming undone during extender stretching session. This was added to the design because the straps would always come back through the slits where the straps are designed to go through the glans cradle, so these “locking” flaps were designed to keep the strap from slipping out of the cradle.
The major problem is that even these locking mechanisms are poorly constructed and seem to break very easily. One of my “locks” broke the first day I received the new design! You will notice on this type of fastener that the part of the strap that sits DIRECTLY behind the corona is a bit thicker than the other parts.
This was done to provide more “cushion” to that area because as you add tension during your penis stretching session it will dig deeper and deeper into that sensitive area of your penis but in actuality it is very painful and you will
need to remove the device and do a bit of light massaging to eliminate the pain.
Now, you can wrap a small bit of cloth around this area before fastening your penis down to reduce this inevitable pain but this will also just make your strap pop out of the cradle with much more ease because of the added bulk surrounding your penis.
The “Noose”
I'm torn between this one and Velcro design. Like I said, a lot of this debate is according to the design of the base. I switched from PeniMaster to FastSize penis extender about a year ago and wow what a difference in both fastener design as well as their plastic glans-cradle design! This type of fastener is around 6 inches long, made of silicon and is just thin enough in circumference to fit inside a straw. FastSize penis extender provides these in their “kits”.
Much more durable and comfortable than the “strap” design you will be able to pull longer and harder. The undercarriage of the plastic base where your penis head lays on this “noose” design is brilliant. The rubber “noose” moves through holes, not slits, which prevents the degradation of the silicon noose and is hooked onto ports underneath the base.
No worries about slipping or destruction of the strap. With direct skin contact these can become painful as well so I would suggest again wrapping the area directly behind the penis head with something soft so when the strap starts to “dig in” the pain is virtually unnoticeable. I quickly noticed a solid 2 to 3 hour, pain-free pull as opposed to 1 or 1 ½ hrs with the “strap” design.
The “Veclro-Strap” Innovation
This is the “do it yourself” design. Using the principles of the “Strap” design you can make your own using this material which works fantastic! If you own a strap-type penis extender I would remove the strap and construct one of these. It’s as simple as taking two pieces of Velcro (sticky side and opposing side) cutting them the appropriate lengths and then you have an indestructible and comfy strap.
A small squared pieced is required to be placed on the undercarriage of the plastic base to provide for a place for the strap to be secured to the penis extender. Again, use something soft to cover the sensitive region behind the head to prevent burning. Skin to Velcro does not feel good even with the soft side touching your skin.
Final Extras
It should be noted that all penis extender designs ask for some form of soft material to be wrapped around the penis before being applied for pain reduction. If you do not have 5-8 hours a day to spend the penis exercising then this may not the product for you. However, I have come up with the Extender Power-Pull concept with Calixto to help those trying to crunch time. A Power-Pull is done by putting the extender on and a max amount of tension on your penis for maybe just 2 hrs a day instead of light tension 5-8 hours a day. THIS PRODUCT CANNOT BE WORN UNDER YOUR PANTS!!! Extenders are way too bulky and unless you wear some “MC Hammer pants” from the 90’s, then it is best to wear your extender while laying down with no clothing. I have over 5 years of experience with this device and have gained about 2 inches penis length.

This article would really be helped by having some photos of the devices or better yet, the devices being worn.
Great article bgstick , Almost tmi .hehe !
This is so good because I want to get an extender !!
And some pics of the extenders and how their worn would be good .
I think you have made some great points and i would like to comment on what you have said about Fastening Devices for Penis Extenders. It is a real problem however i have found that some pictures of the extenders and how their worn can really make a difference for someone that have no experience with this
Great article. Very practical. I appreciate the advice on how to wrap behind the glans to protect my dorsal nerve. Thanks Bgstick18.
