i was talking to a personal friend of chris benoit about 2 months ago and he basically told me the same thing
chris was not well for a while before he commited these acts and nobody understood why he did it
it is true to steroids cause aggresive behaviour, and anyone who disagrees with that is in denial
i know several guys who went from very quiet and shy to punching random people infront of the club from steroids

i would say that the steroids had a major role to play with what he did,
although the dimentia gave him the capacity to commit those crimes,
i believe the steroids pushed him into the "pyscho" zone
