CHAPTER TWO

A man just leaving the establishment, saw several men, throw Sir Stud in the back of a wagon and thought to himself, "Sir Stud must have really tied one on today," and chuckled.
Then he got to thinking, hadn't he just seen Sir Stud sitting with Betsy, eating? He decided to go back in and ask Betsy why Sir Stud would be that drunk.
Betsy was still sitting at the table and the man walked up and said, "Excuse me Miss Betsy, but wasn't Sir Stud with you all day?" She said, "Why yes, he just left to go back to the castle." The man told Betsy what he had seen and she jumped up and ran to the door just in time to see the wagon disappear down the road. She knew that something was dreadfully wrong as Sir Stud's horse was still tied outside.

She told the man, "If you will ride to the castle and inform the BetterMan Knights of what you have seen, I will give you five gold coins." The man agreed, mounted and rode to the castle to bring the news.
