Cern: Good question. I've spent years looking for the answer. Before I finished the book, I spent at least three weeks straight digging in every whole, to make sure I didn't overlook anyone who had a serious injury.

From what I can recall, using legit testimonials, I found roughly five people who claimed to have injured themselves via PE (long-term). Four of the five were temporary problems lasting a few months at the most, and were due to what JP said: Guys being very rough with dangerous exercises (e.g. erect jelqing/erect bends).

I interviewed the one who claimed to have a permanent injury (lasting a little over a year), and found out that he had serious penis problems prior to PE. He had also been to several doctors since the problem, and had his penis checked in every way possible. They said nothing physically was wrong with him, and it was all most likely psychological.

In any case, the bottom line is that of course you can injure your penis while exercising it, just as you can injure your body while exercising at the gym. But just as similar, if you exercise safely and properly, you shouldn't have any problems.
