Well. I did it again. I overtrained.
It was a combination of things. I keep getting discouraged that I'm not getting the proper amount of expansion during my clamping/pumping sessions. Then, on days that I do get good expansion, I overdo it and overtrain my unit.
All in all, these past few weeks aren't a total wash. I basically learned that clamping isn't for me. What I DID learn is that edging with a cock (jelly) ring is AMAZING! I mean, not only is it more comfortable, but I got great expansion. And by "great" expansion, I mean 0.25 to 0.35 inches. That might not sound much, but for me, it's a lot. Plus, I know that the expansion is true expansion and not just lymph build up.
So what is quik4life going to do?
I've been thinking of a lot of routines. I've tried a lot of routines. I've tried jelqing, stretching, hanging, clamping, pumping, bends, squeezes....shit...everything!
These past couple of weeks I've been reading a lot of old posts, progress threads and routines that have helped other members gain. There are two things that I know for sure: 1) Rest is important, and 2) Most good gainers found a routine that worked FOR THEM. One thing I've noticed (and that I have not tried) is stretching AFTER jelqing. A lot of members swear by it, so I figure I give it a try as well.
Also, during these past couple of weeks, I've been thinking about my whole PE career. March 2007 will be my second year of consistent PE. I kept thinking to myself: "What has worked for you in the past, and what did not work for you?" I know IPR seemed to give me good PIs, but hanging just isn't my bag (baby). Recently, I've discovered that edging with cockrings give me awesome expansion and great orgasms and ejaculations.
So, this is what I plan to do for the following month or two:
Warm up in shower
Wet jelq for 5 mins at 50-70% erection level
Moderate manual stretches (mainly SU and SO) for 7-10 mins
ADS for a couple of hours
I know it seems kind of light, but I think that it's what my body needs. I'm going to start to pay more attention to PIs this time around. The above routine will be performed 1 on/2 off.
Also, masturbation/ejaculations will be kept to 3-4 times per week, and will never be done on PE days. Moreover, whenever I masturbate, I will make sure to edge for 30 minutes before I shoot my load and plan to wear a cockring every time I jerk off.
My goal is to be as close to 7 x 5 as possible, and hope to accomplish this by June. For me, it'll be impossible, but for some reason, I still believe that PE works.
