This certainly allows one to gain full engorement with less of an erection, but it seems to me one runs a greater risk of the baseball bat effect, than with a hose or cable clamp, which are both considerably narrower. I remember Bib saying this too. It makes logical sense. It also makes sense that this causes a greater chance of the baseball effect. I don't think, however, that Bib experienced the baseball effect. Perhaps he had a way to counter this.
In reference to the types of clamps, I've heard different things from different men. A lot of guys who couldn't get engorged with the cable clamp said that the air clamp helped by providing a better seal. Other men said the opposite: that the seal was worse.
