No one is really sure if gains last "forever," but men have reported that they quit PE over 10 years ago and haven't lost a millimeter.
The best thing you can do is cement your gains. Cementing goes something along the lines of this:
- You reach your goal.
- You start a 3 month cementing phase:
- Month 1: Keep the same routine you made your most recent gains with
- Month 2: Cut the routine in half
- Month 3: Again cut the routine in half
- Beyond cementing: Periodically do a maintenance routine.
