In the article posted by Iguana, It mentions that the layers of the TA are what make the penis rigid and provide it with strength. Then in theory, while the men with one layer would have an easier time gaining, then wouldn't they have lower quality erections? As where the men with three layers who gained the same by taking a longer amount of time would probably have stronger erections? I realize the arguments that the Smooth muscle and the tunica are growing or getting stronger with gains, but I also read Remek's theory on smooth muscle playing a role in PE. In this theory (which I found very enlightening) Remek compared PE to body building, in that a lot of techniques and principles to body building are similar methods used by men who PE i.e muscle confusion. In men who take steroids and work out, they often have weak joins/ligaments/tendons because they cannot keep up with the stress that the muscles can handle. Obviously our penises are not lifting hundreds of pounds but still, you would think that men with a one layer TA making extroadinary gains in a short periods of time, would have weaker erectile quality; and if not permanent than at least for a small period of time.
