Originally from England but migrated to Singapore at 12, mixing with the local kids and talking the colloquail english really screwed up my grasp of grammar. Its just that when I post online I try to be grammatically precise and research then summarise long pages into a couple of paragraphs(in my own words) to support my arguement all these just revived my flair for the language. English is indeed my first language and I have good spoken english, but typing on a regular basis has improved my sentence structure. |
