My bruise was under the skin but outside the tunica (very superficial). I had gone to my doctor who verified the location. It was not a deep bruise. IMO, if you can see any small bruisies, they are most likely near the skin.
I have never had any type of damage from PE. Take it easy, watch the PIs. If you have some negative PIs, ease back.
I am surprised by the people starting PE who think more is better. If I was training for a marathon and had never done any running, I would not attempt to do double workouts - it would cripple you. If I start trying to run a few miles and then get shin splints, etc., I ease back - but I don't give up. PE is no different. Pay attention, take it easy. You'll get there in time.
