I feel it just under the skin right down the middle. I estimate the width as being 2 to 3 mm. Penile tissue under this "rod" can be moved freely to the left or right. In the region next to the pubic bone when tissue is moved left the "rod" is then at the right and vice versa. The same effect is not possible at the glans end because physiologically there is confluence of the various components in a more monolithic structure than at the pubic bone end where there is flexibility in attachment to allow more inventive application of the unit at appropriate times.

Just decided to investigate further.
When feeling penis attachment to body in scrotum area - i.e. before it emerges outside the body, I detected this "rod" on top, slap down the middle. It therefore seems to be in place way inside the body.

Does this aid in determining what this rigid thing is?
