not too sure about the kegals, but i have had similar problems while jelqing. two things have helped me:
1. Make sure you are not going all the way down to the ridge of the head, that is very sensative for me and causes me an instant erection. I also noticed if i was lazy with the OK grip i would rub the head. Chances are if you don't feel sore in your hands, u aren't doing it right.
2. I have have also changed the newbie routine to help with it. Instead of doing the jelqs, then the rotating stretches, I alternate. 50 wet jelqs, the 30 secs of stretching for 5 sets, with a 15 sec break in between each set. I have never got an erection from stretching.
Just remember that you are not in a race while jelqing, the slow and steady pace should help aswell. If by chance someone thinks that my routine wrong, feel free to correct me. I am always up for different ideas.
