Rep Power: 0 | Diet & Recovery Wanted to get some ideas about using our diet in recovering faster and promoting more growth after PE workouts. In particular protein intake, and other sources of nutrition. What do you think?

This one is really up in the air. . . I think, believe, and know (to an extent) that diet affects PE somehow. It affects everything else -- especially when it comes to exercising -- so why not PE?
But here's the ticker: I'm not completely sure how it affects PE. My guess is that protein, erection boosters (e.g. horny goat weed, yohimbe, etc), and water all produce some benefit.
I've read quite a few accounts of men getting a good boost in their PE gains when they start taking protein. This boost was unexpected, as they were taking protein for GYM reasons, not PE reason. Nonetheless, the guys weren't complaining.
So I think diet has an influence, I just don't know how much. But hey, every little bit counts. |

I moved this thread to the PE forum. The ETP.com forum is for ETP.com related information (e.g. updates, articles, feedback, etc). |

I would agree that diet does affect PE. I believe that maintaining adequate water supply to the body is crucial. Especially is today's lifestyle where we drink a lot of caffeine, alcohol and eat foods that already have a lot of salt etc...
Being a vegetarian I am soon going to supplement my diet with a protein powder called calcium-caseinate. It will be interesting to see how my growth goes with the extra protein, while incorporating a consistent hanging routine. I'll keep everyone posted!

Yes, please do! Perhaps you should take the protein an hour before you PE?
BTW, what have your gains been like pre-protein? |

Rep Power: 7 | Good and nutritious diet is very important for P.E. I'd like to add oysters, clams, squids, milk, yogurt, cheese, green tea, meat, gingseng. Horney goatweed doesn't work for me. I wasted my money on the herb pills. |

I've heard a lot of men raving about ginseng too. What has your experience been with it?
And yea, sometimes herb pills don't help at all -- even with an erection. I suppose it's all about finding the right combination. |

Rep Power: 7 | Ginseng is aphrodisiac. I used to take it everyday, and my unit was like 100% erection in the mornings. Ginseng, and green tea work for me. |

Ginseng is a good herbal supplement. So is gingko. I use to take ginseng daily, but I had to stop because my body didn't work well with it. |
