Default Stretching towards discomfort..

Hey everyone!

I'm perfecting my manual stretching skills and I though I'd share something I wan't your opinion on. When I do manual stretches at a particular angle (downward & to the left) I feel much more discomfort than at other angles.

Maybe the area that this angle targets while stretching is somehow limiting and need to be prioritized. I'm thinking the reason for the discomfort may be that the tissue that gets targeted at this angle isn't as long and therefore provides what feels like a more intense stretch.
  • So, should you always pull towards the angle that gives you the most discomfort, without causing pain of cource? (Maybe this is obvious)
  • Do any of you have a angle where stretches has a bigger impact in terms of discomfort/aching?

Dicko,

First off welcome to the PE Gym, in all the stretches that I do I haven't had any pain in any angle of stretch. Are you spending anytime warming up the ligs before you start your stretches? I spend about 5 minutes warming the base of the penis, then I go through my routine.

In which way dose your penis bend when it is flaccid (right or left)? If it hangs to the left I might think your that your ligs need more work done to that side.

Thank you. I've tried with and without warm up, that particular angle still gives a great pull and I have to ease up a bit on the intensity because of the slight discomfort, but its a good sign I think, its a dull ache/sourness at the right side of the base. But if I pull too hard I get a sharper ache, slightly painful - its a fine line! Maybe its some potential ligament gains. The funny thing is my penis point to the left a bit so it should be the other way around, weird. I'm going to focus on stretching towards it and see what happens.

Hope you have some luck with your stretches, go at it slow and it may work out for you.
