Default New to the site with a few questions

I have just started these stretching routines, and I have a few questions. First let it be known I am not a spammer as thought in a differant part of the forums, but I am interested in learning these routines to help with my own size. My first question has to do with stretching after warm up. I just don't think I am getting a good stretch in and I have read on here about stretching devices some of you use. What would be a good one for me to get and where would I find it at since I am pretty sure I am not getting a good stretch doing it myself with out any type of aid. On that note, what weight should I start at on the stretching device once I get one.

Oh and so far this site has been really cool to have come across, I am only 5" in L right now and my goal right now is between 6 and a half to 7" just to start off with. Thanks again for this great site.

Oh ya, and if a stretching device isn't what I should be using, then I guess the real question is, how do I know I am doing the stretch correctly? Thanks again.

AMD: Welcome to the Gym. Have you checked out our free guide? There's a lot of good information there about beginning stretches.

Ya that is what I have been reading just not sure on how to be sure I am doing the stretching correctly. I might be doing it right and since I am new to this just not sure.

You'll get use to it after after a few workouts. It's just like bench pressing--it's wierd for most people at first, but becomes natural after a few days
