Default PAIN good vs bad ?

I guess like many guys I want the results to appear overnight and as a PE newbie I may have overdone it a bit. I am only doing stretching and jelqs.

I am getting a dull aching pain along the right side of the shaft. It's internal, deeper than skin level. Is this normal? Or is this a sign of doing something wrong or perhaps too intensively.

Which leads me to the questions:

1. When doing stretches, how does one know how hard to pull for optimum results? What kind of pain is good, and where might it appear? What kind of pain is bad?

2. When doing jelqs how tight should the grip be. I've been using a petroleum jelly to ease the friction, but I've been squeezing pretty hard. How does one know the optimum pressure of the "OK" grip?

Thanks

I use my own feeling of keeping the squeeze to a level where is slightly more than pleasurable but not too hurtful. I think it will vary from one person to other. I believe everyone will have a certain level of potential for improvement. If you build PE slowly the only disadvantage you may have is that you will have gains in longer period but overdoing you can do harm to yourself though not irreversible.
A sort of easily tolerable aching is normal in my experience. Sharp pain may mean some tear or damage. Pain which continues to increase may also indicate damage such as internal bleed. A very slight pain during micturition may be due to streching of the urethera.
Sometimes one side of the shaft has harder tissue, if too hard and not easily strechable ,it can cause curving of the penis in semi erect position. It is quite possible that one side may have a more resistive/ slightly harder tissue. Hence aching only on one side. If you have applied equal pressure to both sides then likelihood is that you have not done anything wrong and there is nothing serious because youyr other side has been able to bear the pressure without any problem.
You may give yourself a break of couple of days and restart taking it lightly. slight aching usually is not worrying according to my understanding.

i would leave it alone for a few days and then start back into it with less intensity. its usually best to start really light and then make adjustments every couple of weeks.

if you've never really pulled on your penis before, then it may actually respond to a fairly gentle stimulus. i think the same goes for jelqing, making a slightly looser ring with your index finger and thumb is usually better at first.

I'll have to third the advice by beaver and soody: Give it a break for a few days (at least 3). I would personally give it a week and then reassess the situation. Having a healthy penis is more important than having a bigger one sooner. Not to mention that if you overtrain too much, the gains will probably be harder to obtain after a while.

For one reason or another, a lot of guys overtrain when they first start exercising their penis. It's common nature for us to be excited when we first learn about PE, but this is why penile exercising has the bad reputation that it does. There's no reason to rush into it, especially in the beginning. Take it slow and when you restart, I'd suggest starting with a light routine like this one: http://www.pegym.com/forums/pe-forum...t-growing.html

Also, what was your routine?

I think so.

Warmup for 5 minutes

Stretches - medium tug, up, down, etc for about 1 minute each, 2 sets

Jelqs - 50 at 80% erect, but with a pretty firm grip

You may want to try loosening up the grip when you restart.
