Default sore spot

I just started this beginner routine, and after the second time I have noticed a blood vessel that is very sore to the touch, and appears to have a hard spot in it. Do you have any suggestions?

Firedaddy: Welcome to The Gym. Sorry to hear about your vein. From your description, it appears as if you may have a thrombosed vein. I wouldn't freak out just yet, as they almost always heal. For some men, the problem clears up in a few days, for others it takes several months. Either way, you'll want to stop all PE until it clears up (really, stop . . . many men don't get the hint the first time, and they aggravate the problem by continuing).

emaine: Did the vein go away, or are you still having trouble with it?

I've had a few thrombosed veins, it sucks. And once you get one you are prone to get another one in the same place again if you are not careful. It usually took about a month for it to go back to normal. I've read a lot of tips on how to get rid of them, like using heat and massaging the spot. Massaging only help to prevent it if you catch it early on I've noticed, like during/right after the routine, otherwise it seems like you just need to wait it out and leave it be.

I guess there is no possible way for them to stress how gently a beginner needs to start.

emaine: Common? No. Does it happen? Yes. My guess is that it happens to roughly 1-2 percent of the guys who PE. Maybe less.

Of course, for the men that it does happen to, they usually post about it because they are worried and wondering what to do next.

It almost always happens due to going overboard. I'm curious, what routines where you guys using? Did you have negative PIs? What exactly caused the problem?
