Rep Power: 17 | Remek, Iguana:
I did increase my routine by using the heavy weights one day then using lighter weights the next day.
For instance:
Day #1 2 session per day
30 lbs hang time 10 min.
20 lbs hang time 20 min.
10 lbs hang time 30 min.
15 lbs hang time 15 min.
25 lbs hang time 10 min
35 lbs hang time 5 min.
Exercise time 3 hour with light weights
Day #2: 3 sessions per day
75 lbs hang time 6 min.
80 lbs hang time 4 min.
85 lbs hang time 3 min.
90 lbs hang time 2 min.
95 lbs hang time 1 min.
exercise time 48 min. with heavy weights
I would have 5 days on and 2 days off

Rep Power: 10 | Yea, however promising, this is no doubt inconclusive at best. It's really hard to isolate any one factor that may produce gains. Especially when a number of things could have changed in his routine. I don't think we can say that his example is an absolute in proving the effectiveness of cooling down, but, it certainly may lend support. As we had noted earlier, many of the big gainers had some sort of cool down. We definitely need more data from others.

I still am doing the basic exercises Jelqing, Stretches, A-Stretch, Clamping, Bundle Stretch, Fawler at night. I use the What-A-Grip under the Golf weights and Monty's PE weights durring the day as an ADS.

But I think it's best to point out that all of Dust's gains probably weren't from the cool down. I do, however, think that a cool down should be a new standard for PEers. |

Rep Power: 10 | For the next survey, we'll definitely have to add a question about this. I'm hoping to get the next survey going within 2 to 4 months, and then have it opened for 3 or so months. So, we'll have more data then . . . But, for now, we're stuck with the ancetodal evidence of Dust, Big Girtha, Bib, and all of the other big gainers who reported using a cool down. |

Rep Power: 10 | Just wanted to say that the cool down seems to be working well. I've noticed after exercising with a cool down, I have good flaccid hang for longer periods of time. I have been using an ice pack. Whooo doggie! That will make your toes curl up read fast! I thought cold showers were bad.

Rep Power: 0 | Hey guys,
I am a newbie who just started PEing in Dec. 2007.
Anyways, after reading this thread, I changed from a warm down to a cool down.
1) However, since Im not hanging, is a cool down still perhaps a better option than a warm down?
I use a wash cloth with water from the refrigerator. After the cool down, my dick is still longer in its flaccid state. But 5 mins after the cool down, it shrinks into my regular flaccid state, but a bit thicker and harder, as if there were more blood in it.
2) Should my dick be reacting to the cool down like that?
Thanks |

Rep Power: 10 | Tdkx: Good questions.
1) Yes. A cool down makes a lot more sense in terms of PE, regardless if you're hanging or doing manual PE.
2) You may want to cool down for just 1 to 2 minutes instead of 5 or more. The goal is to keep your penis longer than the flaccid state. After a couple of minutes of cold, the penis tends to "turtle" up.
Hope this helps. |
