Health: Dr. Lamm (author of The Hardness Factor) recommends 1 gram of L-arginine the first 2 days, 2 grams for the next 5 days, and 3 grams from that point out. He also recommends pycnogenol. For more info, check out this thread: http://www.pegym.com/forums/general-...rking-try.html

I mean if you do weight lifting and you don't eat you protein are you really going to gain much mucle if any? no not really and very little if any. You strength may actually go down. Which is why I think diet plays a role. when you lift weights your body repairs itself after you rest, when you do pe , your body repairs itself to when it rest. same principle. rest is key and if you don't have proper nurishment it may hinder gains and overall health of what it is your trying to work out with. its not like all that extra mass just comes out of no where you know. nutrients are used to create and repair things in the body. diet can heavly effect how much rest time you need in pe. Which is why diet is important and with lack of certain nutrients like vitamin C pe may actually be more destructive. Vitamin C is essential for collagen. I know this too because whenever my penis starts to feel sore I buy me apples and I only need one day of rest and the soreness is gone the next day. If I don't buy one usually I may have to wait for 2-3 days of rest. because apples have antio oxident that helps stop inflammation. I use apples to help reduce chances of peyronies and when I fractured my penis I got scared and learned about apples and the anti-oxident it has. . When I fractured it I couldn't catch an erection no more. next day I was able to have an erection but a continous sharp pain was bothering. Then I had a sharp pain in my penis till i brought apples and then the next day after i brought the apples the pain was much lesser and the day afterwards it was almost completely gone. The third day it was completely gone. I know nutrition is important.
Very well said, leech.

About the amino acid blend recommended by leech; If someone such as my self already has a high protein diet, not limiting myself to any one protein source, I wouldn't already be getting all the amino acids needed? I weigh 185lbs so I roughly eat between 180-190g of protein/day.

First thanks for posting that article on vitamin C Leech, it was really interesting. These two quotes really stuck out to me.

"Prolonged exposure of cultures of human connective-tissue cells to ascorbate induced an eight-fold increase in the synthesis of collagen with no increase in the rate of synthesis of other proteins (Murad et al., 1981)."

"Second, vitamin C, in the critical reactions that assemble collagen in the tissues, does not serve merely as a catalyst but is destroyed."

I never really knew why vitamin C tended to be recommended for PE. I'll have to juice up my vitamin C intake a bit.

Another thing I have to say is, even though the penis is small compared to skeletal muscles, it most likely still takes similar supplementation to get the results. This is because it is the concentrations that matter. So regardless of the fact that the mass of your erectile tissues themselves (not counting the mass from blood engorgement) is probably less than a thousandth of that of your skeletal muscles, we still need to supplement at similar levels because we cannot direct the nutrients to our penises once they're in our bodies; we have to make sure all of our blood is circulating full of what our penis needs (and of course in concentrations that won't adversely affect other important bodily systems).

So, it's my belief that keeping good amounts of omega 3s, amino acids, vitamins and minerals in your blood stream MUST help.

I believe it helps too, the point I was just making was to what extent. I mean I already picked up some supplements so I'm obviously a believer =). Still looking for an answer to my protein question though.

I really don't know about that one. So far I just take a bunch of whey. I've wondered that myself actually.
