well to get your eq up to 100% i would suggest doing kegels and jelqing and over a short peroid of time your eq will start to increase. As for measurements, I think we all have that problem, i usually measure right when i peak before ejaculation. of you could just measure you BPFSL. which will give you the most consistent measurements and let you know if your gaining that way.
You dont need to hold kegels for a long period of time you just flex and release. You have to work up to doing holds like you are currently doing. So yes you are excercising out of your league at the moment. You will work up a tolerance to kegels and be able to conintously hold them in a couple weeks or so. Also it's not staying in the tight state because of the fact that your BC muscle isn't conditioned yet.
