Default The Warm down

I've always been under the impression that a warm down was an important part of a routine. When I first looked at Thunder's Place's newbie routine, it said to have a warm down, but one isnt listed under the beginners guide here and the PE survey says one isn't recommended, can any more experienced PEers weigh in on this one?

Thanks

Andyroo, actually, warming down in counter-productive to what we are trying to achieve, which is to keep the penis in an extended state. On the contrary cooling down seems to be the more logical option. Give this thread a read, it was discussed in detail here.

Interesting... I would never have thought to cool down... I mean, when ever something cold gets near my member, he goes into hibernation... maybe not something cold... but just cooler than luke warm?

Yea, it's kind of counter intuitive but it really works. The key is to not cool to cold or long. I try to say around 3 to 5 minutes,
not long enough to cause shrinkage.

I ran cold water over it for about 2-3 minutes and it maintained its elongated state for a few more minutes, but then it went back to normal, does that sound about right?

Yea, that's typical. The cold definitely helps the tissue stay elongated for longer periods of time. However, sometimes, upon returning to room (or body) temperature it will retract somewhat. The objective is, over time, to redefine what "back to normal" is.

Yeah, that makes sense... I was just reading your thread over on Thunder's and I definitely agree with your premise that cooling helps it stay elongated longer... when I did my warm down, it would stay elongated during the warm down, but after I dried myself off and got out of the shower, the elongation would be gone before you could say "more bang for your buck."

The cold water definitely helped to retain size after a stretch/jelq session... Im just curious, I do stretches, then jelq, then cool down, should I be doing my cool down as I finish my jelq's? Or maybe just do a few more stretches as I cool down?

I would recommed one last good long stretch while cooling. The idea is to stretch out as far as possible and the cool that way.
Maybe try to hold it 3-5 minutes while cooling. That's usually what I do.
