| My Medical School Research Experiment Hello everyone! My name is Riley. I am a student at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine seeking a joint MD/PhD degree in medicine. It is a requirement of all first year students wishing to garner the PhD portion of the degree that they conduct an entry level year-long research experiment. Currently my major interests in medicine are in Urology. I discussed many topics with my course advisor and I was quite sure that my research was going to be focused on the reproductive system. Being a heterosexual male, I had hoped that I was going to be able to focus on the much more interesting and attractive complexities of the female reproductive system. However, after weeks of discussions and topic-searching, we could not settle on any really good subject matters to research. I was reasonably secure in my belief that our male organs of power and pleasure could not be enlarged but I was still intrigued by it. I entertained the possibility of researching and testing enlargement pills. When I realized how much they cost, I quickly discounted that idea. I sought-out information regarding manual exercises. This information was going to cost me some money too but then I discovered the information was readily available for free on sites similar to and including this one. I brought this information to my course advisor. He agreed with me that it would be an interesting experiment to run but cautioned me about the dangers of manually exercising that special region of the body. Together we introduced the topic to the research class as a requirement before having a topic approved. The idea got overwhelming approval. I was given the go to proceed with the experiment. I was given approval in October. Since then, I have been researching PE and heavily studying the intricacies of the male penis. I have been reading many of the progress logs on this site. I have 22 pages of a notebook filled with information that I have gleaned from all of you here at the PE Gym. I am finally ready to begin my experiment. I will be conducting this experiment on myself exclusively. The experiment will last one year. I notice a lot of people surrender early when it comes to PE. I, fortunately, will not be one of those people since I am doing this for reasons other than the desire for a bigger penis. I will be keeping extremely detailed notes and data. I’m going to make all of this information available to this forum. I’ll be capturing every measurement on camera and these will also be available for your viewing. As required by my course advisor, I will be capturing video of the types of exercises that I will be performing. My schedules will be organized on a monthly basis. They will stay relatively similar; however, it is my intention to increase intensity from month to month. I will be changing warm-up times to see if gains could possibly be contingent upon warm-up. I’ll be experimenting between end-of-routine warm-downs and cool-downs. Which will yield more gains? I may even try to deliberately inflict minor injury to observe how it could cause gains to fluctuate (although, to tell you the truth, the chances of this are not very good). Obviously I will be starting out light but probably not as light as the beginner’s routine posted on this website. A huge component of my early experimentation is to examine how the penis initially responds to abnormal intensity. It is also my intention to try to correlate gains and sexual activity whether that be intercourse, oral sex, or masturbation. My wife is excited about that part! All of my routines, schedules, data, measurements, and pictures will be posted in my progress log –RJ.Fredericks Experiment/Progress Log |

This will be great for the PE community, and hopefully also great for you. Great idea, I think a lot of people will be more than willing to help you on your research. Good luck.

Welcome to the gym. It's good that you're willing to experiment with this. Maybe this will help boost the reputation of PE.
I don't think that it is a good idea to increase the intensity of your routine each month; unless you're willing to document the effects of overtraining on the penis. If you are, then go for it.
With that said, I wish you good luck. Be sure to keep us posted in your log.

That sounds great! Do you plan on publishing your findings and results in any notable journals?

Riley. Welcome to the PE Gym. Wonderful first post.
I have found from talking with various Dr's of Urology, that they are, for the most part, very closed minded on the subject of Manual Penis Enlargement. You could be the catalyst to break through the accepted mind set. If myself or any member of this board, can be of help, please feel free to pick our brains.

Be careful man, less is more! You don't want to injure yourself down there for the sake of science...start PM'ing around to some of the vets (JonPop, kingpole, going411by7, etc) and formulate a SAFE routine!

My starting routine is fairly light. You can see it in my Progress Log - RJ.Fredericks Experiment/Progress Log.
I'll increase or decrease my routine from month to month as I see fit. I don't really have a set schedule for these. At the end of each month, I'll analyze my monthly results and determine at that point which direction I want to go. Remember, I want to see positive results with this experiment - but this IS an experiment. There is a chance that I will be doing some things with my routines and schedules that might not be typical. But, I am going to take it from month to month at this point.
When the experiment is completed, I will be writing an essay that will analyze my data and the results of the experiment. Publishing these results and writings is definitely not out of question. However, because this is considered entry-level research, gaining the much needed support and accreditation will be rather difficult - especially given the already pessimistic outlook on penile enlargement. Stay tuned.
Thanks for all of your comments, suggestions, and recommendations.

Thanks for all of your comments, suggestions, and recommendations. | I can understand your position and I appreciate your efforts. To those that would deny your work, I say "PESSIMISM BE DAMNED!" Doctors, academics and professionals in a position to help their fellow man should concern themselves with facts and not rhetoric. Just because the subject of PE might be embarrassing to some doesn't mean that it should be ignored or misinformation spread about it. That goes against the tenets of good science.
