i currently warm up and warm down by dipping my penis in a glass of hot water. i warm up for 12-15 minutes, and warm 'down' for 5-7 minutes. my only worry is that the heat im exposing my glans to will do some damage. the temp. in the water is not scorching but it is pretty hot. when i feel my glans feel a discomfort from the heat i immediately pull my penis out of the glass and it let it cool down in the air for about 5-7 sec then i repeat and pull out if needed. now i can do this the whole 15 minutes without burning my glans. my glans do not feel burned or sensitive after this warming up method. yet im still worried i am doing damage. is it possible i can still do damage to my glans from the exposed heat even though there are no signs to indicate i am?
an intelligent answer would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
I used to have the same issue but quickly discovered two things:
1) Your penis will acclimate to the high temperature quite quickly after the initial shock, just the same as when you get into a hot bath. So use a "mind over matter" approach and you'll see how you can actually tolerate high temperatures quite well if you learn to ease yourself into them.
2) The difference between "burning hot" and "almost burning-hot" is very subtle, so figure out the highest temperature you can tolerate by learning to gauge with your hand. Put your hand under the running hot-water and start using different "samples" by adjusting the temperature as little as possible. Eventually you'll be able to tell with your hand when the temperature is perfect for filling up the cup.
Your unit is gonna be fine so don't worry about any damage whatsoever. Your body is smart enough to tell you to pull it out immediately when it's too hot (which is exactly what you've been doing all this time) so don't worry about any damage cause your penis will simply prevent you from doing so by causing you to pull it out right away when it's too hot.
