A few days ago I started to stretch quite hard because I wasnt really feeling the intensity in my stretches and I felt like they werent doing much, but now when I stretch (Mainly when I stretch downward and straight out) I get this intense pain in my ligs and it stays for around 10 minutes after I finish stretching. Should I take a break from stretching? I have been doing Pe for a little over a month now. I can see that I have definately gained in Flaccid size and I am semi sure I have gained in erect length aswell(Not sure if I was just measuring wrong when I started or erection quality or some other variable) I was about 6.5 BPEL when I began and now I am 7.25 BPEL and I always measure from the most forward point of the pubic bone to assure consistency. My penis hasnt shrunk at all in flaccid or erect length and my girth doesnt appear to have shrunk either and there are no negative PIs that I am experiencing aside from the pain. I have heard that pain is bad and if I feel any pain I should stop, but no pain no gain right? if I am going to stretch my dick by an inch or more, I expect there to be some pain involved, if I were to stretch and other part of my body that much longer, I'd expect it to hurt a bit. I have no problem with the discomfort the pain causes, infact I like it in the sense that it makes me feel like this is actually working. My routine involves around 10 minutes of manual stretching daily and I jelq for 30 minutes every 2 days. Should I stop stretching until the pain goes away or keep going at it? Thanks. |

zmx, two things: 1) It would be a good idea to take a break. Pain is never a good thing, especially when it comes to PE. The "no pain, no gain" motto doesn't work when you exercise your penis. Most guys who go at it with this mentality usually hit a brick wall real quick. Either they injure themselves or they hit an early plateau because the penis doesn't respond well to high-intensity exercises when it isn't extremely conditioned. Take it easy. You've already gained (or probably have), so why change it if it's working? It looks like you haven't caused any damaged, but if you continue to stretch (and cause yourself pain), then you may worsen the problem. Wait until the pain goes away and then re-start with gentle stretches. Try JAI stretches at first. 2) From 6.5" to 7.25" is a big increase. That's nearly an inch in a month. Congratulations. |

Alright, thanks for the reply. I'll take a break from stretching until I no longer have this pain. Do you think it would be alright if I kept Jelqing in the mean time? this doesnt cause any pain at all. |

Slow and steady wins the race. If you feel pain or get injured, stop what you're doing, and take a break.

zmx: Personally, if it were me, I would take a complete week of--regardless if there isn't any pain. Better safe than sorry. Not to mention, if you do aggravate the problem even more then you may be out much longer than a week. As AvgJoe wisely says: Slow and steady wins the race Sometimes you have to take a break because you went to far--that's part of the PE process. The real test of the men who PE smartly and those who PE impatiently is that those who are smart take a break when their body is telling them they need to.

I guess I'm taking a complete week off PE then. Hopefully I dont lose any gains. Is it likely that I will lose any length? Thanks. |

zmx: Yea, it's possible. But most people don't with just a 1 week break. And even if you do, you shouldn't have a problem gaining it back once you restart.

It's been a week now pretty much, so I tried a downward stretch last night, the pain is extremely faint, but still there none the less so I'm just not gonna stretch till it is completely gone, but I'll still jelq every 2 days but at an upward angle, this produces no pain at all.
