Exclamation Cannabis and growth

I was just wondering if cannabis in any way would alter the results of PE exercises. I don't imagine it would stunt results altogether but as a beginner, I wanted to make sure it wasn't going to significantly decrease or altogether cease results of the exercises. After all, it does slightly raise oestrogen levels of the body, which may affect growth. The same question applies to tobacco. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.

PE is actually one of the reasons why I quit smoking weed and cigarettes. Back in 2005 when I started to seriously PE, I thought that since smoking is unhealthy for you and stunts one's growth, then it would do the same for my penis. So, when I started the Newbie Routine, I quit smoking in hopes of increasing my chances of getting gains.

Unfortunately, I didn't get any gains. But, that was just me. I turned out to be a hard gainer. Personally, I'm still glad that I quit, regardless of my penis not growing. I feel more energized, healthier and get sick less often.

Some members, however, argue that weed has allowed them to be more relaxed for when their perform certain PE exercises, like stretches and jelqs, and as a results, has given them gains. Personally, I think these members are just using their gains to justify them smoking weed. Other members who don't smoke weed but smoke cigarettes have also had some amazing gains.

You have to remember that only a healthy penis grows, an unhealthy one doesn't. Could the members who smoked weed or cigarettes got even more gains if they had not smoked to begin with? Who knows. All I know is that men PE for two reasons: 1) to get a healthier, harder penis and 2) to enlarge their penis. If you're body is in bad shape, then your penis most likely is as well. Have you ever seen a pornstar who wasn't physically fit? I haven't.

My advice is to lay off the weed and cigs, regardless of their affect on PE. After all, you can't smoke weed and jelq at the same time. Pick one and stick with it.

I don't smoke on a regular basis, but enjoy the occasional joint. However, I don't indulge before working out as I think it would create fasle feelings with what I'm doing; jelqing etc. But if I'm pumping it's ok; I have the gauge that keeps me sane. Also I'm more relaxed if I have a joint before selfsucking, though I selfsuck more times without. I don't think there's any harm with casual use of cannabis, tobacco though..... that's somthing else.

Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor (constricts blood vessels and blood flow) and being that blood flow is vital to good penile health and to gains it therefore could possibly be detrimental.

Caffeine is a vasodilator (opens up blood vessels) so you would think it would be advantageous. But strangely enough, several guys have reported caffeine to negatively affect their flaccid hang. No idea why. But they say it makes them shrink up. I think it may be due to getting their caffeine from coffee and soda and not drinking enough water. Either way, I try to limit my caffeine.

Iguana: Isn't caffeine a vasoconstrictor as well?

I don't know about the caffeine thing. I don't intake anything with caffeine except for this one exercise drink about 4-5 times a week which is supposed to give you larger muscle pumps as well as add extra strength while training in the gym, and for me it does just that. That's why to me it wouldn't make sense if caffeine is a vasoconstrictor. If it is though, I guess the drink probably contains about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee so its about 4-5 cups of coffee a week. Would anyone care to guess if that's enough caffeine to effect PE if it were to constrict blood flow as much as nicotine for arguments sake?

My guess is probably not. For the next survey, we'll definitely be asking about caffeine intake (along with other vasodilators and constrictors).

Actually, caffeine has been shown to exhibit both vasoconstriction and vasodilation properties on different parts of the body. In regards to PE, it seems it acts as a vasodilator on smooth muscle. Hence one of the reasons caffeine is added to aspirin in several pain killers (i.e. Excedrin)

PHARMACOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF CAFFEINE
(at low to medium doses)
  • increased alertness, increased wakefulness
  • increase in faster, clearer thinking
  • increased mood, sense of well being, sociability
  • decreased fatigue
  • decreased sleep, increased restlessness, sensitivity to stimuli
  • increased skeletal muscle activity (increased shaking, tremors --- decreased fine motor control)
  • increased respiratory drive & rate
  • increased urine output (is a diuretic)
  • increased HR, cardiac force, BP, dilation of coronary arteries (vs. cocaine)
  • decreased smooth muscle activity (is a vasodilator in peripheral blood blood vessels, but a vasoconstrictor of CNS blood vessels; opens bronchi)

Interesting find, Iguana.

So, according to this statement, caffiene vasoconstricts the SM?

It's for questions like these that I wished I asked about caffiene intake in the first PE survey.
