I've read about the "Baseball bat" effect or something to that extent that can occur from doing PE the wrong way. I've only started PE about 2 or 3 weeks ago, and my shaft has always had more girth starting about 2.5 inches just below the head and then proceeds to get slightly thinner as it nears the base. It doesn't have that baseball bat look but if you saw it you can clearly see the transition of girth. When I jelq I put extra effort into starting as close to the pelvic bone as I can because I feel like all the blood builds up in the middle/top of the shaft where it already has a large amount of girth. Any ideas if the jelqs will expand the girth within the first few inches of the shaft as well (because I don't really feel much pressure in the first few inches)? Or maybe there is a jelqing technique that only effects the bottom area? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Health: You may want to try 3 half jelq strokes for every full jelq. Meaning:

So would I count each half jelq as a full jelq? Meaning that if i do 3 half jelqs and one full jelq that that is 4 jelqs. Or would I basically be doing triple the amount of jelqs?

Still jelq for the same amount of time-perhaps a few minutes more. So if you jelqed for 15 minutes, then stick in the 15-18 minute range.

You Jelq by time? I thought it was supposed to go by reps. It usually takes a while I've never really timed it but I usually do 300 reps. I've been doing PE for only about 3 weeks now but I've slowly upped it to like 310 reps. Should I just time it instead of counting for reps?

Health: I personally recommend time, as it's a lot less tedious. I'm always amazed by the guys who can count reps on end. Either way, it doesn't matter which way you do it - as long as you're consistent and you do the jelqs effectively.

For using time instead of reps or for mini strokes? Either way, the answer is yes, it would work for reverse jelqs |

![]() | The reverse jelqing can help with increasing the base size. Reverse jelqing is a little harder to do and you have to get use to the working the shaft the other way . 1. Erection is at 100% 2. Make sure you have the shaft of the penis well lubricated 3. Grab the head of the penis and pull straight out 4. Then start with the other hand at the end of the head and jelq toward the base of the penis
