I'm wondering if Viagra would have side effects when one is doing PE. I wonder because next week or probably in the week-end I will try some Viagra for the first time ever. And I was curious if it can harm your penis? I'm planning on taking it on my day off, then having sex. The reason why I'll try Viagra is because I want to see how hard I can get and if possible last longer. So, can it do harm? Like f.e. 'infect' the blood and veins so that you won't be able to grow anymore? Those kinds of questions. |

Cold: Welcome to The Gym! Like all drugs, Viagra has quite a few side effects - some of which include, a faster heartbeat and increased blood flow. It, however, doesn't infect your penis by any means. (As a side note, oral drugs can't infect you. Only diseases, bacteria, and other organisms can cause infection). Many men who PE also use Viagra. Some men say it helps. Others don't. You shouldn't have anything to worry about. Just take it easy your first time around. ![]() Good luck. |

OK man, thanks for the reply. I will most likely try it this week-end and probably update this topic the day after.

I took Levitra (similar to Viagra) experimentally on and off for a while doing PE. Actually, the effects were quite conducive to PE. I would still be using it if it weren't for the cost.

Sounds good, Cold. Keep us updated. Iguana, how much were you paying for the Levitra? |

Today I tested Viagra for the first time ever, and it wasn't that great. Although I had a better erection, I came very quickly. That's probably because I was too excited at the actual moment, and perhaps because I hoped all day long (before doing it) that it would delay my orgasm. And then when it was time to actually do it, I was over-excited, I didn't even had a 100% erection, only like 75% It's not an excuse or anything, it's a fact that I can blame stress and mental problems. I still have 2 pills left, and I will most likely keep them until I am 200% sure that I won't stress or feel bad. |

![]() ![]() | My insurance covered it but it was still around $50. Cold Turkey - ED medicines will not help with premature ejaculation. There is a drug that is undergoing clinical trials for premature ejaculation called dapoxetine hydrocholoride. The last I had heard it was still pending approval. Also, If you are still having retrograde erections while using Viagra you might want to see a urologist. It could be a sign of a physical problem.

Yeah, I happen to have an appointment next week. I will most likely tell the urologist about it, but I have to admit that I fear the answer/result. > Perhaps my brains are damaged in a way that I will never ever have full erections anymore, or perhaps I need to make a switch so that I can have full erections again. |

If the problem is psychological (and it usually is) Viagra or a similar medicine will most likely do the trick. If medicine doesn't help it could be venous leakage or some other physical problem. I wouldn't get too worried, most ED is very treatable.
