    I have recently discovered that years of jacking off to porn has desensitized the head of my penis. I have trouble ejaculating inside a woman now. I understand that there are ways to "resensitize" but I am totally in the dark. I have seen terms like "ballooning" and "edging" but I don't know what theses terms mean. I need help. Could someone point me in the direction of an article or post that explains all this?

    I have cut down on masturbating to about once a week now, and I'm hoping that giving the dick a rest will help the head become more sensitive.

    I would appreciate any help any of you can give me.

    Ballooning and Edging are similar but different. For a beginner I recommend starting off practicing edging. When you get your control down with edging then go into ballooning as this takes a little bit more to master.

    Keys to ballooning: You cannot cum at the end.
    Keys to Edging: You can cum at the end.


    I'm going to make this as simple as possible for a beginner.

    This is how I learned.

    When your are masturbating try to go to the point just before you want to cum and stop. When you you feel right start again. You want to be in a state where you can go up to that point but not cum.

    This is difficult and will take some time. Its ok if you can't hold it and cum. This is just practice. Practice makes perfect.

    Try to not practice this while watching porn as you will be very aroused and maybe not able to control your orgasm.


    Ballooning is the same exept you do not cum. You let your penis go completely back to the flaccid state.
    This will create a very huge sex drive the next time and get you very aroused and when you do finally cum the next time you will be rock hard and the orgasm will be one to remember.

    This works well for pre-mature ejaculation also.

    Try to do keels at the same time you are edging and ballooning. Do it GURU status!

        • How roughly did you masturbate in the past?
        • Did you always watch porn when masturbating?



        Lately, when I masturbate/edge/balloon, I avoid touching the frenulum and glans (thanks to Kingpole's suggestion in one of his ballooning posts ) as much as possible. This helps sexual sensitivity big time.

          I don't know about PE but try this.

          Use a lube, preferably pure olive oil not virgin or extra virgin.
          Just enough to coat your fingers. Lightly rub the glands on the head, the ridge. Softly in various directions.
          No more than five minutes a day.
          Do this once a day. You may get hard so try to do it just before the bath or shower so you won't want to masturbate.

          Try not to massage anything else like the shaft or balls.

          If you have a lover, after a few weeks or retraining your brain, then have your lover do it for you. The same way. Walk away. Don't view this as a lead to sex.
          Then a few weeks later have her do it with her mouth. Walk away.

          In two months or less your brain connections should have made new connections. You should be home free.

            If your circumcised , you could look into restoring your foreskin . I've heard that restoring can increase sensitivity.
