Default Weak erections before intercourse

I just became sexually active with my girlfriend, last week.

We've done it 6 times the last 4 times we hung out, however, the result is always the same:

I go through a rollercoaster of erections during foreplay; I'll be rock-hard, then I'll go nearly flaccid. Yet, whenever I'm about to begin my first penetration I'm able to get it fully up, at least to 90%, then it blooms into a full erection once I enter for a second or two.

This erection rollercoaster is quite annoying, considering she wants to play with my penis and it can be unsatisfying for both of us during fellatio. Also, if I take too long to change positions (IE: pulling out and moving around on the bed), my penis will start to go flaccid. Which again, is bad for obvious reasons.

Another note: It takes a long time for me to climax/a lot of stimulation. Considering I've only had sex 7 different times before last week (all while drunk...one night stands, hah), I would think that actual sober sex (condomless, even), would make me a minute man the first couple of times. This hasn't happened.

Any suggestions on how to improve my ability to maintain solid erections throughout?

Current PE program:
40 Jelqs, (20 O.K., 20 V-grip)
50 Kegels
5 minutes of edging

Supplements:
Multi-vitamin
Ginseng Complex with Royal Jelly
Omega 3-6-9 Fish Oil
drinking organic Green Tea
Protein Shake
Amino Acid powder
Creatine
(above supplements were taken before I started doing PE for reasons of weight-lifting/exercise).
Zinc
Ginkgo Biloba
L-Lysine
L-Arginine

From what you've described, it's very likely that your issues are psychological. How are your erections like outside of sexual activities with your girlfriend?

Man, I hate to steal this thread topic, but I have the same problem and was coming here to post (ask) about it. Outside of sexual activities with my girl, I get rock-hard, 100% erections at will basically. But during oral, I'd say I'm around 70-80%. The other night I didn't even attempt sex because I was about 75%.

That also sounds like a good case of it being "all in your head".

Here's a clip from an article that I wrote deailing with psychological ED- hope it helps:

By far, the biggest cause of impotence today is psychological impotence. This usually stems from simple performance anxiety and insecurity issues. Almost every man at some point or another suffers from this on at least one occasion.

One simple way to determine if you suffer from psychological as opposed to physical impotence is if you have a “morning hard-on.” If you wake up in the morning with an erection, everything is most likely in physical working order.

Another simple test is the stamp test. Before going to bed, take an ordinary roll of postage stamps and, moistening them, wrap them around your unerect penis.

Upon awakening, if everything is in physical working order, the stamps will be separated as a result of the natural penile tumescence cycle which occurs in all physically healthy men as they sleep.

On a psychological level, you should convince yourself that if you are okay physically, it's all in your head!

By far, the best way of resolving simple Psychological impotence is if you have an understanding lover, explain to them that yes, you are turned on by them physically, but because you want to please them so much, you're just a little nervous.

Explain to your lover it has nothing to do with them; that's it's simply all in your head. You just need a little time to learn to relax.

Spend some time with your lover in sexual activities that don't bring on anxiety. Learn to enjoy what you're feeling at the moment. Realize that your penis WANTS to get hard; all you have to do is relax a little.

Approach love making in a relaxed manner; after all, you're not there to do a job, simply to enjoy yourself and your partner.

Realize that your lover will understand; and if they don't, maybe you shouldn't be with that person anyway.

If these exercises do not help to resolve your psychological impotence, some professional counseling would be advisable to conquer what is probably a deeper issue.

I do have morning woods; for a while they disappeared due to improper PE training--however, they have resurfaced lately.

So, it may be psychological. I'll talk to her about it and I'll just build from there. Thanks for the help, Big Al.

Great read Big Al.

I would like to add to the topic. If you do your routine and then go try to have sex you will most likely fail also, your unit needs time to rest. I found this out early on and now will try to give myself at least a day to fully recover from a workout. A final note would be your masturbating habits, if you rub one out before having sex with your girl your erections can and will suffer also. I have talked with women and some know if a man has rubbed one out before getting to her by his erection strength. Go a couple of days without masturbating and save it all for your girl, just be prepared to go a few more rounds when you do.

I agree entirely with Big Al about it being psychological.

These problems will inevitably get better with a PE routine, also.
