I'm new but I know that different people have different opinions on this subject. First, here's what's up with me:
I'm into my 3rd week of stretching/jelqing/edging but I am pretty horny as of late. I stretch for 10-15 minutes, jelq for 25, and then edge for like 15. People tell me that's too much but my dick feels alright. So far not much pain at all and my erections are good as before if not better. Length is my main goal at this point as my numbers are 5.75 length by 5.3 around (as of first measurement 3/18). I haven't done another measurement yet because I know I haven't really gained any length yet and I don't want to get discouraged (I will measure after my next rest period, Sunday 4/5/09). The top of my penis is a little sore but only a little. It's from the stretching i think. Once I warm up, the soreness on the top of my penis is gone.
But here's my question: I read the article on this website about masturbating affecting gains. The article said the guys who only did it once a month got the best results. I've been doing it everday. But not within 5 hours of the workout (which i do at night). Do you think I should cut back on masturbating?
Also, as for my routine, if it really is too much i would cut back but i don't really have any injuries so i think it's all good. The head of my dick is purple after a workout though (but not cold).
