    Hey. I'm new to PE and I just started my new routine today (I tried a different one earlier, but it wasn't for me ). Anyways, it's the basic routine posted by the PE admin on this website; after I did my rice sock warmup and my stretches, I got my erection easily. However, I have a little bit of trouble maintaining an erection; past the 50th rep, I cannot even bring my little guy back up with porn! It if VERY frustrating, and I need some help. Even through reps 1-50, I have some trouble keeping a 75 percent erection- though not nearly as much as after the 50th rep. What is wrong with me? btw what does a 50-75 percent erection look like? Could someone please show me a picture? Thank you

    Sorry, no pics. I always tell people to think of it as a 'floppy flaccid.' That's the best way I can word it. Kind of like a hot dog, I guess - does that make sense? Certainly not something you could really masturbate with effectively, but more than your relaxed state. In the middle. I hope that helps. There is definitely a feel to it when you get in the right range.

    By the way, your situation is by no means uncommon, Magicpickle. One of the most common issues with jelqing is maintaining a consistent erection level throughout the session. Give it another go next time, and chalk this up to learning the exercise. Welcome to the gym.

    Thanks, buddy. I feel better knowing I'm not the only one with this problem. By the way, should I just stick with 50 or so for now since I can't do any more?

    Sure thing, man.

    It was only one session, so don't self-impose the number 50 as a barrier. It's not a barrier. You only had one session, and it just so happened that 50 was the limit. Not a problem.

    I do personally think that JP90 is the most intense beginner routine on the boards, so if you continue to have a tough time getting through sessions, there's nothing wrong with trying a different routine (like the one called 'your first penis exercise routine'). But for now, take it one session at a time, and see how the second one goes.

    Don't be so hard on yourself. 50 reps to start with is fantastic.

    Let's say your totally erect penis sticks straight out--10 o'clock, right? Then 50 % to 75 % erect would probably would be at 9:00 or so, right?

    If your erect penis normally hits high noon, then I would think that 50 % would be sticking straight out, right?

    Play it by ear, man.

    Perhaps consider doing stretching one day, and girth work the next. Doing both back to back may be too much for your unit right now. While stretching you won't be "worrying" about your jelqing session to come, and if your unit responds better the next day when you jelq, it will obviously make that session much better for you.

    i dont know why people worry aboutmaintaining erections during jelqing.... i do "all" of my jelqing in a flaccid state..... i start from laccid, my penis gets to a bout40% max during th session and thas it... i personally never to jelqs past that. and i still get great fatigue from what i do.

    Because you won't have any girth gains if the only girth exercise you do is flaccid jelqs.

    Another thing you may try Magic Pickle is to do your jelquing before you do the stretchies. many people find that a good stretching session will temporarily reduce your EQ and that is completely normal.

    strange, then why have i gained girth may i ask, when the only girth excersize i have done over the last year or more, is flaccid jelqs, and some hellicopters????

    you still gain... what your saying is basically a guy who does light weights and more reps in the gym, wont grow muscle... when in fact they will. i dont like the way erect jelqs feel so i do the flaccid to semi.... i still gain... so!

    EDIT: i must admit though steve, my girth gains havnt been mega but they are still apparent. im in no rush for girth, i already have a fat cock lol
