How hard are you supposed to grip, how long should each stroke be, what should the penis look like during/after the jelq session? Those are all questions i have been asking myself but never asked on the forums till now (dang im stupid..) Personally i grip with a pretty hard grip, strokes last about 1-2 seconds (each hand is a stroke), and during the first 50 or so strokes the penis is 70 percent hard (not erect). At the 100 stroke mark usually my penis turns to about 50 percent hard. Then at the 130-200 mark, it basically looks limp/flaccid, but VERY full of blood(when i let go of it to examine it). When the jelqing is finished, the penis is basically a pumped up flaccid. Right after the jelq session the penis looks just a teeny weeny bit bigger than normal flaccid. But this goes away after about 30-60 secs. Is this what a jelqing session is supposed to be like? Thanks guys |

trex, There is no such thing as the perfect jelq. There is the best jelq, but that's relative for everyone. This is hard to say, for me, as a perfectionist. When I first began PE, I would grip with a slightly tighter than masturbation grip and each stroke was about 2-3 seconds. During my jelqs my erection level would rise, not fall. I started a wet jelq at about 60% and ended at 80%. Now I currently use a moderate to tight grip and each stroke is about 5-6 seconds for a total of 12 seconds per rep. I start at about 40% and end at 50-60%. V-jelqs for me are 4 seconds each stroke for a total of 12 seconds per rep. And my erection level continually rises. These are done at 60%. You want to start with what works for you. For me, a light grip to start worked. And currently (after about 9 weeks) a harder grip with longer repetitions works for me. Since you describe your penis as plump and a little bigger flaccid, I think that's good. I would lessen the grip though, and shoot for 3 seconds a rep.

but heres the catch: idk if i measured BP or NBP at my first measurement so that may put a damper on my wonderful hopes.. lol..... |

![]() ![]() | That's quite the catch, trex. As long as your measurements are consistent you will know what the changes in your penis are. I would keep up with what you're doing. Sounds like it's working.

well now im consistently measureing the same and for now.. its all fingers crossed (toes too) id cross my peni if i had 2 :P |
