(1) My theory on JAI stretches is that you should do your "stretch" progressively harder each time. I like to do 30 JAIs in a set. On stretch #1, I'll stretch at about a 2 on your scale. By the time I'm at stretch #10, I'm pulling at about a 5. I'll progressively work the intensity up until about stretch #25 or #26 where I'll do a few at the maximum amount of force that I go with (which, I must add, is by no means close to a "yank my dick off" stretching force).

(2) Use the breathing method. Perform the stretch for your 2-seconds while inhaling, then slowly release the stretch for the 2-seconds of exhaling.
