Default A Progress Log Template in Excel

Hello everyone,

Hope you are all doing well with your PE goals. I have just started - and as with all new things I'm excited about I have made a little chart to monitor my progress.

I just wanted to share it with you all in the hope that someone else finds it useful.

It was created on a Mac version of Excel - but should be compatible with PC.

I think I've included everything needed to fully monitor your regime and improvements and other data columns can be added as needed.

It also features a progress bar to help visualize how far along you are. Simply fill out the start date, then your starting, current and goal dimensions.

All the best,

Chipshop

Thanks hopethisworks - hope it works for you.

I've made a couple of updates - the current measurements for the progress bar are taken automatically from the table.

Also, I've added the Growth Factor column which shows the standardised rate at which growth is occurring on a per-day basis. The best period of growth is highlighted in green (or rather the measurement taken at the end of the best period of growth in highlighted in green.) This let's you know, at a glance, whether a change in routine is yielding better results.

In the back of my mind I have the aim of enabling better measurement and hence analysis of routines/gains leading to numerically-backed claims which can help everyone. If there is support I could create a simple web app to capture this data (and so you wouldn't all have to keep this .xls file on your computers) and tie it in with your pegym.com accounts.

Best,

Chipshop

Very cool, Chipshop! Thanks for your contribution. I did something similar in Excel but far less detailed. Mine also has a graph showing changes in key measures (BPFL, BPFG, BPEL and BPEG). That's rewarding! But yours is the one folks should follow. Remek will be very pleased! Maybe these could be accumulated anonymously after a year or so of practice so that some analysis of trends in gains could be made. Great job!!
