    I'm on day 5 of rebooting. I've gone a few days in the past without looking at porn or masturbating, but I can't remember ever going 5 or more.

    The urge to look at porn and jerk off is almost unbearable. It's taking every ounce of willpower I have not to. It really IS an addiction. In my life, I've kicked a few bad habits, most notably: cocaine and nicotine. Maybe it's just the way I feel in the moment, but this feels like it's a lot more difficult than kicking those habits. Either way, I made a promise to myself to abstain for at least 2 weeks and I'm going to stick to it.

    I'm now completely off of Cialis. I've already come a long way. I went from having a completely limp dick every time I tried having sex with my girlfriend, spiraling down into depression and losing my feelings self-worth, to seeing a doctor, getting prescribed Cialis, and tapering down the dosage little by little. My erections on Cialis are incredible as long as I took at least 5mg. However, I'm 25 and physically healthy-- I refuse to be dependent on ED drugs given my situation. I'm now taking the next step and doing what I have to do to increase my erectile function without drugs.

    On day 3 of rebooting, I had sex with my girlfriend and I had an incredible erection that lasted all the way through the sex, just as good as the ones I get on Cialis. The only problem was that I was worried about maintaining it, so the sex only lasted a little less than 10 minutes and I didn't bring her to orgasm like I usually do. I just came when I was ready. Nonetheless, it's a start on a new branch of my journey and my goal is definitely in sight.

    Im 3 weeks without porn myself and i havent looked back, best thing ive done to help my recent ED issues

    I had sex after 2 weeks and the girl commented how hard i was!
    Im waking up at night and in the morning with greatest erections now

    I really believe my ED was caused by over use of porn and masturbation and im determined to fix it

      i also am on reboot it realy is pretty hard to not go back but in the long run its going to be for the best. best of luck to you guys

        i am on day 10 of mine and i have learned to edge more than masturbate, after my sessions aswell. Without porn there is much less temptation to masturbate frequently, although i have gone 2 times since i started and may leave it at twice a week. Apart from that my erections are great, and i am well hung during the day by edging for 10 or 15 mins after PE'ing. I must say that after the 5 or 6 days it got easier, they were the worst, once the habit is broke its all plain sailing Still nothing wrong with looking at a picture of a hot girl just stay away from the hardcore shit!

          Getting off porn is hard. Very hard. Congrats on your success so far. I see you plan to only abstain for 2 weeks. I would think after 2 weeks you would be over the worst, and then you are gonna go back to it?

            i plan on trying to stay off it for a longer time enough time for my brain to totaly reboot ive been masterbating 3 times a day every day for 3 years now i need alot of rebooting hahah

              Do you masturbate or edge imagining sex???if you do i think it is kind of same...so i suggest when you masterbate try not to imagine porn type sex...just focus on feeling...im also doing as same but im finding it hard to stop my imagination and fantasies and this is all because watching lots of porn...
              i managed to stop all these for about a month but then got tricked by my fucking mind nd started watching porn again...though stopped after watching and finishing masturbating...now on the second try and it has been about 3 days now..no porn, no fantasies, no masturbation....want to leave porn foreverrrrrr....and iam completely sure i dont let myself down again.....good luck to alllllll

                I've been off porn for a couple of days now, but I also edge in the mean time; should I just stop edging all together for now? Curious if edging hinders the progress.

                  You could try taking Niacin (vitamin B-3). Niacin helps with almost every addiction. It also helps with stress, anxiety, and depression which could possibly help individuals last longer during sex. Niacin also provides your body with energy.

                  I studied nutritional psychology and cognitive neuroscience in undergrad and I am currently getting my masters degree in education and biology. Niacin is something I will be taking for the rest of my life. Also, it is found in several foods, thus there are not any side effects. If you require peer-review articles for evidence send me a personal message. I always have evidence to backup my claims or I won't make the claims

                    Niacin is great stuff. Beware as it can give you a flush. I have given friends niacin just for my own amusement as I liked watching them go through a flush. You itch and feel pins and needles. It doesn't last long and not everyone gets this flush. I myself have experienced the flush many times.

                      I'm just taking it one step at a time at this point. I would like to quit porn for good, but for the 2 weeks I'm going to completely refrain from both masturbation and porn. After 2 weeks, I might start jerking off again, albeit less frequently.

                      yourbrainonporn.com recommends no POMF (porn, orgasm, masturbation, fantasy) for 2-6 weeks. The idea is to shock your dopamine system back into full swing. That being said, I'm breaking the 'O' part of POMF because I'd rather not abstain from having sex with my girlfriend. She'll be the only one that I orgasm with through this rebooting process and it's usually no more than twice a week right now.

                      I also thought I'd mention that I stopped getting spontaneous erections years ago. Low and behold, I'm sitting here with one right now. I wasn't even thinking of anything sexual. I'm just getting boners throughout the day like a 25 year old should.

                      Do the reading. Do the work. Lose the porn-induced ED.

                        This is my 8th day on this reboot/no PMO thing. I find this easy as shit. I stopped watching porn and masturbating because my libido was at an all-time low. I DID masturbate about twice a week, but out of boredom. I did because it was enjoyable, but I never needed sex or porn. I was completely void of sexual desire. I'm 25, and I should be attracted to all the girls around me. I should crave sex and think about it all the time, waking up with an erection that lasts minutes for no reason. But none of these were the case. So here I am.

                        I don't think I was addicted to porn, but my ED (which I have been carrying for years) and my lack of libido is what has led me to try this thing. I'll keep you guys updated on my progress.

                          I'm not into PE, I only want to cure my ED. Do you guys know if I only do kegels and stop watching porn it will be helpful? Thanks.

                            I'm now about to hit 4 months without porn. Sexual feelings now come from sensation, my mind, and a real person. A little temptation still exists but it is minor. I also think that for me the pe routines; i.e. the touching and the sensations and the occasional attempts at edging are helpful and are more healthy substitutes that have helped me resist the temptation to look at porn.
