Not sure if this is the correct place for this or not, my apologies. I've been lurking this site for about two days, carefully analyzing the various threads here.
Anyway, I recently realized that I've been overdoing kegels. I started back in early October, and for awhile they were highly beneficial; within just weeks I noticed an insane increase in my EQ, ejaculation distance, and overall sexual quality. I started off doing 3 sets of 10, holding for 10 seconds. About two to three weeks later, I doubled it so that I was doing 3 sets of 20, still maintaining the 10 second hold. About three weeks ago, I decided to up the ante once more and do 3 sets of 30, only this time, I decided to hold them for 15 seconds instead of 10. It took awhile, but it started catching up with me the other day, as I noticed my PC muscle felt somewhat sore and just generally fatigued. Because of this realization, I decided to take a few days off before continuing again, this time with the 3/20/10 routine, as it seemed to work fine for me before.
I thought about going with a 2 days on, 1 day off routine, for a total of 5 working days a week, with 2 days off. Previously, I was doing them everyday.
My question is, in order to keep the PC muscle as healthy as possible, do I need to do lighter ones (hold for fewer than ten seconds) on my days off, or do I just relax completely on those days? I want the sensations I had before, when I was doing them everyday without hurting myself. If taking a break will somehow jeopardize that, I need to know.
