I've been using tongkat ali for a couple years (off and on) and recently came upon this article which seems really crazy! But is a fun read.
I do believe this stuff works. I buy the lj 100 which is a 100 to 1 extract. Recently my wife (58 yrs old) started it. If you use it, I recommend cycling several days on and a couple days off.
Anyway, check out the effect this guy claims

I have ED as a result of diabetes. To improve the blood flow to my penis I take an over the counter supplement, Maxidus, which includes 154 mg of tongkat Ali along with 7 other "potent" supplements. I have trouble raising a good erection with 100 mg of Viagra. However, if I take a Maxidus 3 hours in advance of sexual activity, and another one 30 minutes in advance, I can sometimes generate a decent 70% erection, albeit short lived. Without taking the pills, I can't move beyond a thick flaccid.

The question is how they could be still on line claiming that you can get erection with an all herbal product in 20 minutes and it can last 18 hours!
Moreover all the ingredients are not standardized and in ridiculous quantities. For example the hgw (Herba Epimedii) is 24.5 mg. (the vitacost hgw complex has 500 mg standardized for 10% icariin plus 100 mg dried) the astragalus is 24.5 (the planetary herbals full spectrum astragalus extract is 250 standardazed+250 dried), the ginkgo needs weeks if not months to give effects, etc..
