Default Help me with my kegel gameplan please

I have done kegels in the past...but I think I have been overzealous and over due them all the time. I would do sets where I do quick ones for 60 seconds, take a small break, then do 5 second holds...take a break...then in the end I do 1 or 2 60 second + holds.

So I can do the kegels just fine...but I never felt like my EQ was improving...probably cause I was overdoing it.

Or is it the case that I "can" do the type of kegels described means I am probably not overdoing it?

Anyways, I never do erect kegels, usually when I am in a car listening to music or what not.

I read online there was a device you sit on to enhance the kegel..so I started doing it with a rolled up sock and you can REALLY feel the tension when you kegel down...the response is strong.

However, I read in another thread the idea of doing 200 quick pumps per day. Is that probably a wrong gameplan since I have shown I have the kegel 'strength' to perform the other exercises I have mentioned above?

As mentioned in a couple other threads..I am 28, I rarely get morning wood... I have not had my test checked, the erection tea doesn't do much for me (though I might go make a cup right now, and if I haven't gotten off in a few days, then of course my erection can get pretty rock hard...but once my wife and I start having sex again, I want to try and make it a daily routine and hoping my EQ won't fade, like it has done in the past. Maybe that is normal.

Anyways, recommendations are greatly appreciated so I can improve my EQ. My size is fine, I do various PE exercises here or there, but nothing consistent.

Bulldog, I'll be interested in the advice you get. My issues are related to but different from yours. As a newbie, I'm confused about what kind of kegels I should be doing (Big Al recommends very quick ones for newbies, others say you work on making each kegel last longer) and how many of them I should be doing, and how often I should be doing them. Right now, I'm trying to work on holding my kegel contractions longer, but I'd like to be doing more quick ones if that's more beneficial.

Well, I did 200 quick pumping versions today while in the car on my way home.

I am going to do this every day, no more and no less for 1-2 weeks.

Not sure at what point I should try erect kegels.

This is a great question and I think the reason there is no definative answer is that no one has really studied this scientifically.

However since it is a muscle that can be trained I suggest training it like you would train any other muscle.

VERY important to give it rest after you train it hard. I mean an entire day rest if not two.

What kind of training? Well in my opinion when I am having sex to increase my EQ or maintain my EQ I am doing long powerful kegels not quick ones so when I train I do longer and more powerful kegels.

I will do some light kegels to warm up and then do 3 x 10 sets of "pyramid kegels" where I start with light intensity and increase to max tension over about a second and then hold it there for about 5 seconds.

By the end of the 30 reps my kegel muscle is worn out.

As time goes on I have been able to increase my hold time and expect this will continue.

For example when I started I could only do 30 reps at about 2-3 seconds and now I've built up to around 5 seconds and I'm sure soon it will be 7 seconds ect.

However others probably have a different opinion. This is just mine.

good stuff.

What I might start doing, that I never really have...are "weighted" erect kegals versus focusing on the soft kind. This would be done with a towel or something I can hang over my shaft when I have an EQ of like 8-10, and work on kegaling the weight of that up and down. Maybe even wet the towel/wash cloth.

However I am curious if you get more benefit out of that versus soft kegels.
