Default Injury? Maybe? ah!

A month and a half ago I was with my now gf and we couldn't have sex. I was really turned on for maybe 2-3 hours but never did anything except push up against her a lot. When I go home I had realllly bad blue balls but couldn't get an erection in the shower but did later when I woke up. However the following day It would go down after 3-4 seconds. I also ended up experiencing a loss of sensation as well. I have other health issues going on like back pain as well so I figured it was a herniated disc (loss of sensation) and got a ct scan and mri (both negative).

Its strange because I used to get erections realllly easy and now its almost impossible without her doing things. On top of that its almost hard while flaccid now. Every now and then it will go soft again or when I wake up in the morning but once I start moving around again.... It also seems to get worse sometimes after sex or masturbation. Though I am not really complaining as at first I didn't feel anything when I orgasmed then after a few days it was painful. The doctors I have seen have said prostatatis as I had difficulty ( a lot ) urinating as well. For a few days there I was a WRECK, thinking I was just damaged for life and my body seems to be TRYING to heal itself somewhat. I am taking 2 grams of arginine a day as I know it can help and did when I used it for weight training.

Also I have been on antibiotics for a month now so the odds of it being an STI is EXTREMELY low and I have had a ton of blood work done. Any other issues like this? My urologist said I was 23 and was fine it was all in my head and though im sure that plays into it it, it does not play into it much.

Prostatitis is a very real condition. The prostate is a very sensitive piece of equipment and is easily inflamed. My advice is; Stop all masturbation. Drink massive amounts of water and FINISH your antibodies. Also, don't do any heavy lifting for awhile and NEVER put yourself in that position again, with your girlfriend. Let yourself heal. When your EQ returns then resume your normal life. Good luck.

What if it isnt prostatitis? I think I have noticed a change in the penis itself and I have been on antibiotics for a month now. I will take it easier though and stop having sex because it is fairly difficult to carry out fully.

You can read up on prostatitis here and see if your symptoms match the condition:

its very confusing because I have all of the symptoms but I also have loss of sensation and it seems to be changing / different (penis). Its a very weird situation for me and hard to deal with.

I don't want to scare you, but you should visit a doctor. It could be a blood circulation thing. It could be just a bad case of blue balls. Anyway, better safe than sorry. Doctors are here to help.

Yes, you really should see a doctor. It could be nothing, it could be something that will go away in a month or so (the penis heals very quickly, and it's relatively hard to permanently damage it), or it could really be a problem. Either way, the only way to find out what's going on is to see a doctor and tell him/her your symptoms as accurately as possible. Think about what is different about your penis from before you had problems, and write it all down

You don't want to take any chances with this organ! But don't worry, I'm sure you'll be fine. My penis has been through some rough times, and it's a very happy penis.

Ditto,on the write it down. I have found that writing down all concerns in a letter format and giving it to your health care provider gets better over all results. Lines of communications are clear and both parties understand the concerns.

Hope this helps.

Ive seen two urologists who both say "no scar tissue." im starting to gain some sensation back but it feels kind of tingly. last night when I did get an erection it was SCARY! It definitely curved and it was a fairly strong curve half way up. Is it possible it will do this while its healing but not have the curve perminately? Its strange because it seems to curve every 3 times I get aroused (not every time).

Okay I thought I had scar tissue until earlier. Its like one side of my penis loses blood and then it curves. its happened twice now. I will get an erection (though it is abnormal) and the left side will "deflate" and it will curve. Has ANYBODY ever heard of this before? Any resources? I will contact my doctor tomorrow when they open but... seriously W T F !!!!

A side note is I am seeing a neurologist this week. Around the same time this started I had weakness in my legs and then back pain with no reason. The leg issue got so bad I could barely walk. Lost sensation in pelvic region, bottom of feet, part of legs, then my neck and arms. I really hope this isnt all a neurological problem if so.... fuck .
