You mean to maintain my weight? Or to add to the tea?

To maintain your weight. Green tea is a poweful fat burner so you may want to counter balance this with some heavy fat meals. When i dropped to 163 lbs from being sick i would go out and buy a fattening milkshake from Jack in the box. The ice cream used for this is 14% butter fat.

Today i ran out of green tea bags. I made tea without it.

one glass of water(boiled) 1 table spoon full ginger, half table spoon garlic, half table spoon lime. Still it tasted the same.

Am i using less ginger powder here??

I've really acquired a taste for ginger! I dumped the bottom of my container into my tea, thinking it was about 1 tsp, but man, it must have been 3 times that. It's burning hard going down, but still oh so gooood

Hi, I'd like to try this but I don't have a coffee perculator.

"Fill yp a four cup pot with water.
Filter in the place where you put coffee.
4-5 bags of black tea.
2-4 tablespoons of ginger, you can get this in a jar at the grocery store.
brew it like you would brew coffee.
Then add a good squeeze of lemon juice.
drink it black or sweaten it with honey."

I just want to make one cup in the morning and maybe one cup before I sleep. So would one bag of black tea be enough? 4-5 black tea bags in one cup is too much right?

That's a lot of caffeine to have right before bed.

I do mine in a one quart thermos bottle. I tie 6 green teabags together with the strings, leave the tags hanging out. I put 1 teaspoon full of ginger (or to taste) and then pour boiling water over the teabags and put the lid on. I let this steep for about 10 minutes. Take the teabags out and with two spoons, press any remaining tea back into the thermos. Pour into a cup, add honey and fresh lemon. (To taste) This lasts me all morning and stays hot. I never have any caffeine after 1:00 in the afternoon.

I found a good brand of bottled green tea. Brand name; "Gold Peak." Believe it or not, it's made by the Coca Cola Co.
It has NO high fructose corn syrup as do all the other brands of bottled green tea.
The ingredients are ; Pure water, sugar and the highest quality green tea leaves.

The only draw back is, it does contain sugar.

If I'm going somewhere, I stick a bottle in a hugger to keep it cold. It is a great tasting drink and the best bottled, green tea I have found.

(I hope the Coca Cola Co. reads this and sends me a case. *Hee*)

hmmm... i'm thinking about pomegranate juice.

No one is mentioning it around here so i think that it would be interesting to talk about it.
PomJ has 4x more antioxidants than green tea. And lately , a lot has been said about it's EQ boosting properties..
What if we replaced green tea with Pomj ?

Could you elaborate on its EQ boosting properties?
