Default ED/HBP/Heart Attacks

There is a question in here somewhere. In the past I ignored the beginnings of ED and other signs of impending heart problems. In 1998 had a myocardial infraction, major one, angioplasty and a stent. 2001 had a minor one. Three years ago had a second stent implanted.

Now I take the least medication I can get away with. Simvastatin, which gives me more gas than Albert Gore, Plavix, and a HBP medication which also increases coronary output. Have tried just about every class of HBP meds and they all have the same result, i.e. limpus weiner.

As a result use Viagra, Cialis and Levitra. Went to their websites and got the free samples.

Now for all you gentlemen out their in PE land, who has tried the ED Meds from India and did you have any strange side effects? I am not talking about a desire for Curry at 3 AM. Now all those sites aren't advertising for the fun of it, someone is buying the product.

I did. I was skeptical but the low price kicked ass compared to my "Covered under insurance" co-pay price at the pharmacy. I ordered mine and received them in less than 2 weeks. They performed exactly as the local pharmacy grade I had already used. They looked exactly like them. They were just far cheaper. Over 60-70% cheaper than my co-pay. I still have a massive supply left as I have not been taking them regularly but only for recreational purposes since my starting PE.

I too ordered them and they do seem to work the same. It is the generic Levitra, gives me a splitting headache and dizziness, which I don't get with the USA branded Levitra.

Your avatar is that a BAR or M60?

Its a 60..............Though being of small build I didn't have to tote one very long.

Levitra has these side effects normally and the dose you got from overseas might of been stronger.

WARNING: I know you know this but I have to tell you. If you are taking blood pressure medications or any other type of nitrates you CANT take ED meds!!
Do not drink citrus juice with them either.

Hi fb3, I am taking rosuvastatin ,which gives me some gas, but it works very well.
I have also recently started taking blood pressure med, perindopril arginine.
Have not had any ed or any side effects for that matter.
The doc spent a great deal of time convincing me to take Hb meds, but did not mention anything about citrus or nitrates.
Am not supposed to eat grapefruit, but that is down to the statin.
Have never used Viagra or any such btw.

The arginine may block the statin from causing ED beings it is a form of arginine. Personally i would never take statins or blood pressure med because they really can not stop heart attack. You got yo change the core cause. Usually a magnesium defieciency causes HBP. For mitral valve and arhythmias they are studying the affects of arginine and taurine on thses to conditons. They seem to work well together.

Add more fruit and vegetables to your diet they help lower BP naturally.

Also if your on a statin i strongly reccomend taking coenzyme Q10. Statins drain your muscles of Q10 thus making you physically weak.

Took statin for years without any problem other than a little gas. Have taken mag supplements for a couple of years.
Do eat my fruit and veg mum, ah mean KP, as I have said before.
Yes the Q10 is a good idea, which is why I have done it for years now, as I have reapeatedly said and advocated ,on betterman site, where we are both active.
Willl not bore members, with my many years of efforts to use supplements and diet ,instead of drugs. Suffice to say, it delayed the inevitable.
Had a long talk with the doc, about evidence based medicene, long term mortality studies etc etc.
You forgot to mention fish oil, which as you should know, I have been taking for many years.

Have heard the numerous warnings about nitrates with ED drugs and have followed them. Grapefruit juice potentiate's the statin drugs and increases the serum level.

I was thinking about adding L Arginine to my regime of vitamins. However, have been reluctant due to the study of heart patients treated with that amino acid. Since the study abstracts do not state the length of time between the study and the heart attack. Was thinking that L Ornithine might be a good substitute.

As to HPB medications, tried to ween myself off them, however self monitoring found my BP going into the stroke city range, and an irregular heart beat. So back to the full does. Will look into the Q10. By the way I am thin, 5'11" 173 lb. Lost two inches in height due to back injuries, used to be 6'1".

Thanks for the responses.
