Default Should I worry as much as I am? Please help...

Last night, after much reading here and consideration, I began JonPop's 90-day beginner routine.
In advance of this, I had been taking the recommended supplements, and doing kegels, both regularly for about a week.
I followed the instructions to a T, in terms of warm-up (actually, I sat in a piping hot tub for ten minutes of warm-up and likewise at warm-down), the exercises themselves, everything. This is the one and only time I have done these exercises.

I'm 35, average build; do cardio and weights a couple times a week. Eat and sleep very well.
My penis is (was?) perfectly healthy and normal.

After finishing last night, I edged for about 15 - 20 minutes.
Woke up in the night and was concerned that I could not seem to get a full erection; got up and masturbated, was able to achieve (pretty?) full hardness; ejaculated and became flaccid quite quickly afterward.

Today at work, had occasional twinges of soreness on both sides, esp by the base, seeming to be deeper in my groin area.
I went to the bathroom several times just to check things; swung my cock around... I seemed to fill up nicely with blood... and a couple times over the course of the day I did get incidental erections.

Got home and soaked for about 20 minutes in a hot tub. Noticed upon getting out that my hang was smaller and more compact than usual.
Wanted to test erectile function; put on some porn to do so. Nothing. Stayed like a stack of dimes. I lubed, I jiggled, I did everything. I put on other porn.
Nothing.

So here I sit, freaking out.
What the fuck do I do now?
Any help would be very, very welcome.

Well, you've obviously over worked. The routine is designed to be done as written and NO MORE. This is because your dick is undergoing conditioning. Give yourself a couple of days off and proceed slowly. Don't freak out on us.

It happened to me kinda , I had some weak erections from over training. Relax and work up slow ,when you get back to exercising

I only did it exactly as written, Jon.
Firm but not too tight grip, modulating it as I went to be comfortable; stayed well-lubed; did the number of reps laid out in the plan; didn't do the jelqs at greater than 60% erect (or at least I thought so... could what I'm experiencing be from jelqing over-erect? Any time I felt like I was getting too erect, I stopped...)
Believe me, I'm trying not to freak out, but it's hard...

Not to get too overwrought and personal, but I left a 13-year relationship with the mother of my child last year; naturally, the reasons were many and very complex, but sexual incompatibility was a big part of it. In April, I started seeing someone with whom I've been friends for 15 years. I always thought of her as incredibly special, and the relationship is going fantastically well- it's fucking heavensent... and the fucking is heavensent. She and I are a remarkable match in so many ways, and the sex is fantastic. And really- to be honest, my relationship with her and my relationship with my boy are the only good things in my life right now as I work through the logistical, financial and emotional morass of my split. I thought I would try these exercises one time and see how I felt about pursuing it from there. I am really tortured now to think that I may have done permanent damage. And I'm really freaking embarrassed, too- what will I say when I see her again Friday night... and am all shrunken and can't get it up?

So, since my last post I went to the ER.
When the doc asked what the issue was, I began with, "Well I feel like a fucking idiot..."
I gave him the whole backstory in detail; he asked me to describe the exercises.
He examined me and very reassuringly said that he did not think I had done permanent damage and that my penis should "wake up" again. Seeing that my anxiety over this was quite extreme, he gave me some lorazepam and sent me home.

Christ, I just really hope I haven't wrecked it...

Sorry- all too much info, probably, I know; what can I say... "open book" is my style.

Dduster I think you are worrying a tad too much about this. Yes I know it's your best friend, but for me PE is always most effective when you do it and then get on with your day. I'm a bit unclear on why you decided to get an erection in the middle of the night, unless your woman demanded one at that (untimely) hour. By the sounds of things, you certainly over-trained, especially for your first ever day of PE, which is not good, but you will recover. Take a day or two off, don't worry about getting erections or anything, then see how you are then. You need to take your mind off of your penis for a while and relax. A majority of the time, inability to get an erection is a mental block - you think about it too much. Just chill man, you'll be alright. However, if you are feeling strange pains, that is not good, but again, not the end of the world. It will heal, and if it doesn't then of course see your doctor again. The feeling after a proper PE workout is more fatigue and mild aches than straight up soreness and shooting pains. But a total disaster? No my friend. It was one workout, and as long as you weren't careless and violent with the exercises, you should be ok.

Well, thanks for the kind words and reassurance jadzen.
I sure hope you're right.
I am trying to take my mind off it... but here I am, just in my lonely apt by myself, and contemplation of the worst case scenario is hard to avoid and feeling pretty heartbreaking...

I think I'm going to make a urologist appointment tomorrow, in any case...

Dduster,You've gotten very good advice from these good men. We're all in this together and you will be okay.
My 2 cents worth is that you just got over zealous . I know I did when starting PE. Take your time, all is well.

Also, if you're sitting there and forcing yourself to become erect because you are concerned, you won't get an erection. Paranoia may play a small part in it - it's happened to me before.

There's nothing to worry about, like others said. I think I over-trained a little bit last night too (fourth night of PE); I wanted to try to stretch more compared to jelqing and do some moderate squeezes before I went to bed last night. Even though I didn't get super hard erection before I went to sleep (it was about in semi-erect state and it gently curved like a banana :P) and after I woke up this morning, my penis in its flaccid state feels a little sore, warm and hangs down more than usual. What I would do is take about 2 or 3 days off and possibly more until I can get back that EQ of 10. And the weather here is getting cold; hopefully my penis doesn't turtle too much.
