Went to a urologist today for him to take a look at my varicocele, and GREAT sounds like I have another thing to be self-conscious about. I have a "skin-bridge", which is a small piece of foreskin that re-grew when i was a baby and basically attached to the bottom part of the base of my penis. I am now wondering if maybe this is reason my erections have never been fully hard....the damn piece of skin is holding it back!!!!! Has anybody else had this problem? Anybody got it fixed? How long did it take?

I don't know a lot about varicocele's ( but i know they are a growth / anomoly on the scrotum) but as for the "growth" on the underside of your penis, are you referring to your frenulum? Most men would love to have a larger one.

No, I am referring to an adhesion of skin from my foreskin to the head of my penis. It can be seen when looking down at my penis. This occurred due to improper care of my penis after being circumcised.

For those of you that may be wondering about Varicocele; it is an enlargements of the vein that drains the scrotum, byway of small one way valves. If these valves become defective it causes dilatation, much like a varicose vein in the leg. They can be felt inside the scrotum feeling like a large worm, next to the testicle. Some 15-20 % of all males get these and 98% of the time it is in the left side. They can be surgically repaired fairly easy with minimal discomfort. Fox you might want to ask your Urologist about Embolization by an Interventanal Radiologist, it's less invasive and boasts shorter healing times.

The skin bridge is a bummer to hear about, It's (like you said) most likely a complication from your circumcision as an infant. It happens when that wound heals it's self to other parts of the penis. I thought that it was mostly a gland or upper shaft thing. I don't know how common it is to have one connect to the base, but I'll bet it's a pain. I do know that many people that have skin bridges do have them surgical repaired and they are said to heal quickly.

Sorry to hear about your worries, but they are curable. Good luck with them.

Get the Varicocele fixed they have a strong correlation to male infertility. As far as the skin bridge goes, think it through really well. I'm guessing that your's is flexible enough that it is not the cause of your lower EQ. My biggest concern is that you may be trading one scar for an other. Some people's skin bridge have a space under them that is hard to keep clean, that might be one good reason to get it fixed. If it's just cosmetic it might not be worth it. Do talk with your doctor about it, he is the expert.

I found a link with some information on skin bridges and some pictures.

Have a look and tell me what you think.

I believe I have a minor one, though I still want it fixed. When I do have good EQ I notice a "sharp" feeling. I always thought thats just how hard boners felt. I guess not, getting this snipped.

I can't say that I blame you for wanting to get it fixed. Good luck with it all. Heal well and fast.

It occured because you were circumcised at the worst possible time; healing in a fouled diaper and unable to give your own opinion on whether or how it should be done.

    This is exactly true.

I would say that by implementing some FR with your PE, you will absolve the problem naturally via stretching. What do you think Ron?
