Oh nooooooo, not Miss Betsy! That was a shocker. I confess that I was pleased by Lars' execution, he earned it. GREAT story, JP. I like the way you manage to evoke the scenes and settings so well with so few words, that's a real gift. I could almost smell the manure and hear the clink of armor. I think you need to write more stories!
