If the site(s) are legitimate health and/or medically oriented, then what they state has some basis, meaning that there is no literature supporting penis enlargement. One exception is a British study from the 70's, but it was not a well-constructed study (insufficient sample size). They are also doubtless referring to the abundance of age-old herb and supplement scams, which are still thriving today. There are plenty of reasons as to why serious clinical studies aren't conducted, but there's really no point in going on about that. You should be able to discern why with a little consideration.

Remember that the penis is much more than muscle and skin, and it naturally ceases growth with completion of puberty. We are trying to force it to do something beyond its natural behavior, which may in part explain the wide variety of reported results of PE practitioners. The neck "stretching", by the way, is more deformation of the collar bones and shoulders than neck growth.

If you want references I pretty much just googled the topic and one of the articles I read I believe came from MensHealth.
There currently is no peer-reviewed literature in professional medical publications establishing the viability of PE (non-surgical), so don't expect a medical advice site to state that PE is possible. It has nothing to do with conspiracies or corruption. It does have to do with what are held to be professional standards of evidence in the sciences. It has also to do with serious concerns of legal liability.

Keep in mind that within the medical profession are many people who've seen the results of PE gone horribly wrong as they made a rotation through the emergency room or as practicing urologists. PE as we think of it is a long-term effort done alone by each of us--no licensed medical supervision is there to keep us out of trouble. You will see in many PE forum posts that guys will deviate wildly from suggested newbie routines as beginners, then wonder why they've destroyed their erectile quality. Even veterans will sometimes get into serious trouble. No M.D. in his right mind would want to send a patient home to try PE unsupervised. Imagine the inevitable lawsuits.

If you want to try PE yourself, be prepared to stick with it for at least six months to a year. That's a long haul just to find out if it might work for you. It will take a great deal of discipline and motivation to keep at it when it seems as if nothing is happening, or you feel too tired to bother with a workout. Most who claim significant gains will state that at least a part of those gains came at an impossibly slow pace. Always apply lots of common sense, and work carefully into the newbie routine. Be ready to back off from the intensity of your routine if any negative indications appear. Always tailor your PE to maintain a high level of erectile quality--that's your barometer for proper workout intensity. Your penis is amazingly complex, resilient, and fragile all at the same time. PE is serious stuff indeed, and you'd be hating life if you permanently injured yourself.

Thanks for the great response handcramp. I realize that there probably were no actual medical publications justifying PE, I was just trying to ask people on a personal level if they have stuck to a serious routine and not had gains. While I realize obviously the penis is incompariable to muslce tissure and the skelital structure, I was just making a statement that the body reaslly is amazing and can change when stressed. I'm very dedicated so I'll definately stick to PE and apply as you said common sense (of which I have plenty) to maintain a healthy, safe, and steady routine; even if that means doing less than I feel I can handle. I appretiate your great advice and again, thanks very much for your feedback

My best advice to you is to take the time to browse through the archived and active threads here and at other free PE sites. It will take some time, but will be quite enlightening. What you will find is that some guys gain pretty successfully, while others struggle. I don't doubt that some men can enlarge their penis naturally, but it is apparent from my reading that we don't really know in detail how it occurs. Clearly some lengthening is obtained via elongation of the suspensory ligaments (early newbie gains), which allows some of the internal penis tissues to project outward from the pelvis. There is much speculation about hypothetical mechanisms of true growth of additional tissues within the penis, but we have no clinical studies proving that we can, in fact, grow new tissues internally. The skin is a different matter--it does in fact respond to constant tension by growing (e.g. foreskin restoration techniques). What we want is growth of the erectile tissues, giving us a permanently larger penis.

If my previous post came across as a bit cool, that's only because I try to take a skeptical approach when investigating new things in life. I have exposure to the world of science from my university days (geology major), and that has left me with a healthy respect for the scientific method as a means of inquiry. We won't get validation from the medical community regarding PE simply because natural PE has not been investigated in the ways that would lend it scientific legitimacy. I really wish it would be done, because I am sure that it would be shown that permanent enlargement is indeed possible for some men. But, the difficulties in conducting the necessary multiple studies satisfactorily would be great. So, those of us who practice PE are doing our own personal experiments the best we can. This is why I strongly recommend that you involve yourself with the free PE forums such as this one, as they are most likely to remain untainted by dodgy characters with a vested interest in making money. The PE world is fraught with scams. Places like The PE Gym and Thunder's are a rare breed, and between them have many thousands of members. You'll note in the forums that many guys have continued to practice PE for multiple years, and some of them report impressive gains. Could there be fakers? Of course, but the shear number of men who stick with PE and participate for years in the free forums lends much credibility to the concept of natural enlargement. I began PE in September after stumbling onto Thunder's (then came here shortly afterwards) while doing a search for new information related to foreskin restoration. It was my firm belief that true non-surgical enlargement of the penis was impossible, until after spending several hours reading through hundreds of current and archived threads there. Time will tell if it works for me as it has for others. I've already lengthened 1/2 inch and gained 1/4 inch girth, but I consider those early gains more elastic than permanent. Still, it is highly encouraging, as is the improved erectile quality (important to those of us middle-aged guys). I have taken a measured starting photo, and will compare in time for a more significant gain. If it comes, I'll post my photos for the benefit of other newbies. Good before and after photos just aren't common enough. I strongly encourage you to take your own photos, provided you have a safe place to keep them.

Study carefully the recommendations for beginners and stay involved with the forums. If you exercise care and discipline, you'll likely see a gain of your own. At the very least you should find an improvement in the firmness of your erections from doing proper PE.

I think there is a limit of growth; but a part of this limit depents on your Mind; as it semms to me the longer you do pe the harder it is to gain; the more effort you must put in the routine....

In 5 years of Pe i came from 13 cm to 19.7 bpel; Gains for me in the last 1-2 years come very difficult

Handcramp: Your words have a lot PE wisdom, especially coming from a guy who just started a few months ago. ..

The PE Study you refer to is probably the Chartham study. It's the only real study cited out there, and it's not even verified. It's my goal to help bring some scientific evidence for PE - through online studies like the first PE survey, and hopefully future real-world studies.
