Default Loss of sensitivity?

Hi everyone,

jelqing and stretching since a month or more. Feels nice, I like the exercise, and got some gains, not that much, but I am only doing 40 jelqs, one day on, one day off, so I am happy with that. Well, I spent last weekend with a woman and during that I had the impression that I lost some sensitivity. Now I am examining that and I think when my *** is flaccid he is not that sensitive as he used to be. When I am errected it's ok, guess like before, or just a little difference. What do you guys think about that? Is this the cost of getting a bigger one? I mean, it feels great, especially after exercising, but still... dunno

thx

Elend

Mr. E: Your penis shouldn't be de-sensitizing due to the exercises. In fact, many men report that they feel even more sensitive after they start to PE.

I'm not sure what the problem could be. Are you jelqing your glans or griping them in some way? This is a big no-no. Also, how much intensity are you using to jelq? It should be a light, graceful grip.

I'm curious, what are your PIs like? You shouldn't be overtraining with only 40 jelqs, but you never know.

Hey Remek,

thanks for answering.

Ok, my PIs are all positive, I guess. No pain, a little gain since I started, and no problem getting hard. It feels thicker and kind of smoother in flaccid state. It's like having an additional layer on it with less sensitivity. I wouldn't call it numbness, I am not even very sure, maybe I am too anxious.

I think my jelq is fine. I don't touch the glans. Maybe I am pressing too hard, might be possible. Well, when I am stretching I am holding my glans. So perhaps that's the problem. In general, is a loss of sensitivity more likely a consequence of jelqing or stretching?

What am I supposed to do now? Continue carefully or wait till it's ok again and than continue? Will it be ok again? I mean, I can live like that, no prob, maybe it makes me last longer, but then I'll stop exercising, I guess...

I will highly appreciate your advice, Remek. Thanks a lot.

Mr. E: Good to hear the PIs are positive. If you are gripping your glans while stretching, that's most likely the culprit. If it were me, I'd give it a week or two off, wait for the problem to go away, and then start back extremely gently.

Hope this helps.

Really, Yeap? Why do you grip your glans?

I don't grip my Glans direclty i grip it right behind. But in some streches after i do my 30 second hols when im moving to the next strecth that there is some purple in my glans as if im cutting off the circulation, so i wait till it recovers and goes away and continue on with strecthing, I feel that this constant cutting off of circulation will cause some mild desensitizing over time.

Wellwell,

I am following your advice, Remek, taking some days off. I think it is already getting better again. Wait... Yeah, it's definitely getting better. ;-) I'll keep you informed.

Short information about my gains:
I started approx. one and a half months ago with the workout, started very slow, and it feels indeed bigger now. Due to my measurement I gained like 3-4 millimeters in length. Girth I didn't measure, but I guess round 2-3 millimeters. I did not expect more gains in that time, so I am happy with that. Gut Ding braucht Weile, we say in German language. I will slowly continue my routine and when I gained 1 to 2 centimeters, I will be fine. (I hope so!)

Best

Elend

So, Yeap, you feel that your penis is less sensitive overall since you started PE due to your gripping method? If this is the case, you should change it up. This is a sign that you're doing something wrong. Many men notice their penis is more sensitive due to PE, not less.

Loss of sensitivity is actually a common issue when jelqing incorrectly. If a man is using a grip where the fingers, and thumbs right along the top of the penis...or even when stretching...if pressure is being applied on the TOP of the penis, these issues with sensitivity and even in the long term erection problems can develop due to the DORSAL NERVE running along the top of the penis. Remedy is very simple, switch to grips that grasp along the sides of the penis, and jelqing that uses a 'palm down' grip where the thumb and forefinger start pressed against the pubic bone. See this page on WIKI:

Dorsal nerve of the penis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
