Will the caloric intake go up in stages as your body adapts to ketosis? Ketosis is dangerous for type 1 diabetes. (to much insulin and not enough glucose to take the insulin into the cells)
I thought of asking if you were on a doctor controlled program. IIt is not safe to lose more than 2 pounds per week un less supervised by a physisician and the weight has to come off to preserve life.
Yep did a full blood work before I began. No where near diabetes. Thyroid was just fine. Cholestoral was only 123. Checked my heart murmer but was very faint and nothing to worry about either. Did an EKG to see if my body would be fine doing a diet like this and also turned out that it was just fine. I was in tip top shape except for that fact that I was over-weight. He was really surprised actually for all those to be at fine levels, especially the cholestrol on a 300lb guy, but like I said, I did tons of activities and even ate like a vegetarian for a year and they were all organics and stuff and shit wouldn't shed off.

As for the caloric intake, yes it does. Once I am at more suitable number like 250 (was 305, am now 273 as of today), he wants me to add in a some veges and very little fruit, like 1 orange a day, 1 apple a day, 6 strawberries or 12 grapes or half a grapefruit. Veges of course more like broccolli, asparagus, all those dark green leafy ones. I add in veges even now from time to time, and sometimes even have a orange just cause I want to and live in sunny florida where I have an orange and lemon tree in my yard. I just get on the elliptical afterwards to just get rid of some of the sugar in it. I drink half a lemon squeezed into water in the mornings sometimes to. Drink a lot of water and definately love me tea ^_^. In replacement of any sugars I use Stevia.

Yes, rapid weightloss is concidered 1-2 pounds a week and I'm doing more like 5, but I don't think it necessarily makes it dangerous concidering I am completely supervised and go to Dr. Walton every Friday at 11:15AM lol.

I'm not to worried about sagging skin to be honest, I have some stretch marks on my belly which I remember for like a day or two got a little redder and now they seem smaller and not as visible so I definately think my body is breaking down the fat to get the glucose that it needs. But yeah eating just protein can be very dangerous, hence why Mr. Atkins died from his own diet but I am not doing this for 10 years or something. Hopefully I'll be done eating like this in the next 1-2 months once I hit my 245-250 and then add some veges and fruits.

stevia is good going to get some myself. Fruit actually helps use lose weight especially grapefruits and apples. For me i don't have much of a choice i have to eat low carb. Or pay the price in ill health.

Hi All,

Just wanted to update everybody. Well I've lost 85lbs now and yes I seen an increase in penis size but theres a few speculations I still have right now.

1. I have gained just a little over an inch since I've 85lbs. Now whats online is half an inch for ever 15 pounds and that should have put me at about an inch and a half and it has not, just an inch. Which is nice though cuase now I can say I'm just under 6" when before I was just under 4" which is sweet.

But after talking to the doctor and reading online, many know that more or less the last place men lost there fat is in the abdomen, while woman its the hips. With that said I still have some belly and some fat pad, I think that once i lost the last bit of weight and get a more tone stomach and lose the fat in this area, I'll see a huge increase in that half an inch for the 15lbs. I jsut think they took these measurements after the person had lost the weight they had intended.

When I first lost the 18 pounds in that week, I didn't see a difference in my penis size at all, but I was still 288 pounds from 306 but now I'm 225 and I do see a huge difference. Still 25 more pounds to go but I'm taking these last 25 more lightly and not as heavy as I did for the first 85 pounds so we'll see what happens once I'm 6'0" 200lbs.

I jog everyday and just watch what I eat at this point btw.

Well I more or less just started with an atkins. Just protein, nothing else at all for the first week, and then moved into a southbeach type diet. Exercised and ate right and the pounds shed off.

The main thing that did it was the first week of the atkins. It's not a healthy diet to do over several weeks so you start it off to give your body that huge jump start and then keep up with the southbeach for your nutrition.
