Question (First Thread) A quick question Im sure almost anyone can answer.

Greetings, I will keep this brief as to keep from making any forum errors early on and aggravate a fellow PE member. I have used the "Beginners 90 Day Routine" found here http://www.pegym.com/forums/general-...y-routine.html. Today was my first exercise and I have noticed two small bruises due to the exercise, I have also read the section "Penile Injuries" found here http://www.pegym.com/penis-enlargeme...njury-injuries. It did not give me all of the information I wanted on the bruises though, I just want a bit of reassurance that the bruises are completely temporary and if they are a negative effect result of myself misusing the exercise can someone give me some advice on how to avoid this happening again?

Once again its very minor and I hope I have followed the rules put in place by the moderators.

Thank you

Hi Behemoth, welcome to the gym! First off just to note, I am still very new at this as well. Only been doing pe "seriously and constant" for 1.5 months. When I first started I noticed lots of bruising and poped looking blood vessesles on my glands "the tip of your member" and some spotting threw the shaft. This was a PI that I was possibly over training at such an early stage. But, if you gradually work your way up to harder exercises and higher intensity, the spotting and bruising should go away almost all together. Hope this little bit of information helps.

The easiest way I know if Im over training or not is just like how I workout. I just listen to my body. When I do Back / Biceps....when I finish up back and moving on to biceps I notice that sometimes I dont need to do that extra exercise cause my biceps are already broken down and fatiged. Your member should be the same way, and always pay attention to PI's. These indicators have lead the members of this forum and many others to their gains, and I keep that in my mind as I train as well. I cant remember who said it on this forum, but i believe it was along the lines of "PE is not a race, and slow and steady wins the race". And when I think about it, same goes for bodybuilding. Took me a very long time and dedication to get the body that I have now, and looknig back it took a very long time and lots of sweat in the gym. So listen to your body, it will guide you in the right direction ^^

Not to worry... bruising is just usually a sign you are jelqing with too much force. Just loosen that grip a bit and you'll be fine.

Jelq slower, Quality over Quanitity. What percentage of erection are you Jelqing with?
And, what Iguana said.

I think you guys may be right, before I joined PE or knew anything about it I had this idea in mind that I could work my member out over time by simply intensifying masturbation. I was kinda sticking to that theory when I was working out. I am new to it and my penis seems to think that some of the exercises are masturbation and will get 100% erect, I will then take a few seconds to let it calm down. I am mostly with my Jelq working about 60%, at the moment it isnt easy to keep it much less then that. I will take it slower for my second exercise after my two day break and see how it goes.

On another note my bruises have almost completely vanished to my delight.

Good to hear it, BEHEMOTH. I'm not sure if you've checked out the PI article yet or not, but it's a must-read: The PEGym - Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to Help Growth!

Welcome to The Gym, by the way

Yes I have read the article and found it very informative. Im now using the bruising as a PI to show myself that I am over training a bit. Thank you for the welcome, everyone has been great to me and I am very happy to join the PE Gym family.
