Default How long have you known about Kegels?

The other day I read a thread about Kegels and I couldn't help but to remember the first time I heard about them. Before the birth of my first son I went to all the birthing classes and they taught the women about them. They included that the men could do them also. The impression that I got was it would help tighten a woman and would keep a man from pissing himself.

In my old rent house someone had put up a sticker on the bathroom mirror, it was a smiley face and had the word Kegel under it. So from what I figured some old people put that there so they could remember to do them and one day stop pissing themselves.

If someone had taken the time to explain to me what Kegels really do I probably would have started them when I was 24. It was several years later when I discovered how they could really benefit me. It has taken 6 months to get where I am now and probably take longer than that to get some real control.

So here it is:

How long have you known about kegels?
How much longer did it take before you started doing them?
How long did it take to see real results?


Just something else to talk about.

I "saw" kegels by the first time last year when I discovered PE

I started doing at the same time I started the other PE exercises ( but at that time I had problems with overtraining )

To start get results - took 4 months doing correctly .Of course sometimes when I try I blow my load, there are also sometimes that I perform a kegel and my erections like subside. Actually kegels helped me to recover super fast after ejaculation ( I ejaculate and seconds later it's hard again )

Hello luis, how's the weather in Brazil today. Beautiful I suppose. It's hot as hell here in the States.
I experienced the same thing that you did, it is very easy to overtrain with Kegels. I first noticed my EQ dropped a little and it was getting harder instead of easier to hold an ejaculation back. I guess everyone will have to find out where a good starting point is and go from there.

Overtraining is the biggest issue with Kegeling and PE in general. It happened to me several times in the beginning. I think a lot of it is caused by bad information. For example, several sites recommend Kegeling for 20 minutes a day, everyday. This is just simply too much.

I've never known about kegels or kegeling, but I can hold a strong contraction for 15 seconds. I can also shoot really far. I've done kegels for several years, but never really knew what they were called.

Actually we are in winter season here in Brazil, but the weather now is like desert - Hot and Dry.

About kegels I remember quite badly that when I overtrained I was having ED and premature ejaculation problems, I got to the point of ejaculating totally flaccid . That was sad. But 2 weeks OFF solved my problem . I think my PC muscle was exausted
