Hey hows it going everyone Id really appreiciat some help for loosing weight.I no alot about gainig weight for bulking up but not as much for loosing it. Im really just looking for a nice diet plan that i won't starve on but will cut my calories sufficiantly so i have enogh energy to get threw the day. I do eat fairly heathly but its not very consistant.I need a proper routine to follow to maximize weight loss.Ive looked on the internet but i either have to subscrib and pay for somthing or its just not for me. So if anyone who knows about loosing weight can give me an outline of there daily meal plan it would be very helpfull. Thanks |

I don't know a lot about diets, but I do have some suggestions about how to lose weight, get in shape, and feel better.... see this thread: Losing weight and getting into shape There are a lot of guys in the gym who know a lot about good diets, I am sure they will chime in with ideas. Also take a look at the Heath and Fitness forum, there are lots of threads there. Good luck! |

but the thing is i have bein boxing for a long time an ive lost a very nice amoutnt of wieght but i seem to be stuck at 215 pounds i cant burn anymore off. Ive cut drinking down to once a week usually less, and ive tried eating less but i start to feel weak after a few days of not eating my normal amount, so i really need a good plan to keep my from feeling hungry and weak and keep my energy levels up without packing on the pounds.

Well, I am no expert but if you have been stuck at 215 lbs for a while and are otherwise healthy, my guess is that you need more cardio workouts and need to readjust your calorie intake. Cardio workouts can come in many forms -- running, swimming, calisthenics, classes, etc. Try adding one or two more workouts a week. As for eating, if you snack or eat desserts regularly, try to cut back. Eat healthy foods and try not to overeat. To keep your energy up, try one of the carb energy bars in the middle of the day. Or half a bar. I used that for a while to keep from going crazy with starvation and low energy when I was cutting snacks out of my diet while working out a lot. Sometimes it is easier to eat smaller portions at meals if you know you will have at least something before the next meal. The bottom line for weight loss is calories in versus calories out. To lose weight you either have to burn more, consume less, or both. Huge changes in diet can be hard to maintain over the long term. I had good success with making relatively small changes that I thought I could live with for a long time. Everything you think about changing, ask yourself "can I keep this up for year?" If the answer is "no way" then it is not likely a good solution for you. Weight loss is no good if the weight goes back on again a few months after it comes off. You need to find long term solutions that you can live with. |
